My percentile is 87 and best 4 is 90.75%. What are my chances for bms

Sampriti Gupta Student Expert 18th Jul, 2019

You can definitely get a seat in one of the 15 colleges accepting DU JAT scores. You can check out these for BMS

  • Keshav Mahavidyalaya
  • Ramanujan college
  • Ram Lal Anand college
  • Shaheed Sukhdev college business studies
  • Sri Guru Gobind Singh college of Commerce

You should wait until you get the best choice you can get with your rank as many seats go vacant.

Good luck

I got 92 percentile in jat bms/BBA and my +2best four is 73 which colleges can I get

mansiprofessional234 Student Expert 18th Jul, 2019

Hey utkarsh!

Your DUJAT percentile is good but your 12 th score is less which makes your normalised score less than 90. And if we see the previous year DU JAT cutoff trends for BBA and BMS , there are very hard chabces that a candidate gets a seat in these courses with this normalised score. You can only get a seat if you belong to reserved category .

To know previous year DUJAt cutoffs   follow the given link:

Hope it helps !

I got 64% in du Jat with rank 7502 can I get any clg

Sampriti Gupta Student Expert 18th Jul, 2019

Chances are very less that you'll get a college with your DU JAT rank. Combining all the colleges accepting DU JAT scores the total number of seats available are 1162 this year.

Moreover even if seats remain vacant in any college not many students will get an opportunity to get admission.

But you can certainly try for next year because if you managed to get 64% this year you'll certainly perform well next year.

All the very best

My du jat percentile is 23.6 and 12th percentage is 78.Can I get admission in any one of the du jat courses?

Purnima Student Expert 18th Jul, 2019

Hello Yash!

Considering your class 12th merit and percentile in DUJAT 2019 , It may not be possible for you to get admission in courses offered under DU JAT that are BMS/BBE/BFIA. Reason being, the results have been sky high with 100 percentiles. Also your class 12th percentage is not strong enough to cover your entrance score. Your normalised score will not be strong enough to enusre you admission in these courses.

But you can definitely look forward to some good private colleges/Universities offering admissions in these respective courses.

All the best!

Is BMS better than BA eco(hons) at hansraj/ramjas college?

Shoaib Akhtar 18th Jul, 2019

i can't tell the exact answer but can give you some points of considerations .hope others can give you better answers . first the bms course is better than ba eco hons as has more placement opportunities . but hansraj or ramjas college are not very famous for bms course and the ba eco(hons ) is very well structured in both of the colleges .there can be other points also but i think ba eco hons is better in both the colleges than bms

so compare carefully

My Sr. No. as per DU JAT 2019 is 804 General Category , can I get admission and is this result only of entrance or combined of 12th& entranc

Siddharth Sachdeva 18th Jul, 2019

This is only the result of entrance exam. If your percentage would be around 90% in class 12th you will get a college for BMS and if it's around 85% you may get BBE in some colleges

Hello,

Congratulations on clearing DU JAT 2019 withsuch good marks. It seems that you have chances of getting admission in soe of the best colleges accepting DU JAT scores for BMS/BBA.Now the cutoffs are based upon different factors, subject to change. The first round cutoffs are generally high.Based upon that you may have to wait for the secodn or third round of the list of cutoff ranks. The selection parameters are something like this :_

  • DU JAT 2019 score- 65 percent (weightage)
  • Class 12 marks(best of four)-35 percent(weightage)

The seats are limited and te applicant are many, following to which the competiton has always been on the tougher side. There are reservations for the reserved category students.

Best of Luck!

I have scored 60.0761981 percentile in DU jat with a rank of 8012 and 72% in class 12th can I expect a college?

kashishjuneja2000_8032841 Student Expert 18th Jul, 2019

Hey,

According to your percentile you stand no chance of getting admission in Delhi University if you are a general category student. Atleast 95 percentile is required for a general category student for admission. If you belong to some other category you can check the last year’s cut off for all the colleges here-
