Delhi University Joint Admission Test
Hello,
Looking at your percentile i think you can get good colleges for BMS and BBE. DU gives a weightage of 65 and 35 to the DU JAT Exam and the Class 12th boards.
The expected cut off for 2020 would be as follows, and the cut off would be marks wise as stated below:
Good luck, Hope it helps
The answer to this is very uncertain, because of the present pandemic situation. However the cut off keeps varying a lot every year, and it depends on a number of factors.
You can always use our college predictor for a clearer idea:

Good luck.
Based upon the marks that you have obtained for both DU JAT and your board exams it will be tough for you to get admission for BMS or BBE. It would had been better if you had mentioned your category. For general category students the cutoffs are quite higher as compared to others. Wait for the declaration of the 2nd and 3rd round of cutoffs where you can check your chances.
Hope this helps!
Thank you.
hi,
see cutoff score changes every year and it depends on certain factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category, choice of stream etc. however based on previous years closing score analysis, you have chances in,
Lady Shri Ram College for Women
Jesus & Mary College
Mata Sundri College for Women
Institute of Home Economics
however this names of colleges are just analysis of previous years closing ranks, it is liable to change every year.
so best of luck .
This year DU's cutoffs went quite high as compare to the last year cutoffs. So at this DU JAT percentage and board percentage ,it seems hard for you to get into DU . However nothing can be said with complete surety as cutoff may vary year to year or you may even get some not so reputed (yet good) colleges .
Dear student,
The first cut off for DU JAT has already been released by Universityof Delhi on 26 october 2020. And the last date to take admission was 28 october 2020. They have mentioned the list of eligible and non eligible students. It will declare its second merit list on November 2 if seats are vacant.

Greetings, Anvesha.
It is a personal opinion so take it with a grain of salt.
While deciding these things you should consider:
- Your career plans
- Affordability
- Exposure and the lack of it
- Utility of the degree
Frankly speaking, SYMBIOSIS Pune is the best option out of all that you have mentioned not just because of its reputation but also because it offers pretty decent exposure levels for a good business school experience.
Cons - Symbiosis is expensive (Rs. 3 lacs for the first year and then other additional costs of living) while NSUT is Rs. 3 lacs for whole course of three years)
1) Look at it this way, if you plan on taking up a job right after completing BBA then you should look at colleges as a stepping stone of opportunities, i.e. you should not think about affordability but instead think about what that college will offer you for your money - Symbi Pune in that regard is great since placements are good and college life if full of different experiences, meeting smart people from all walks of life, living in a fast city such as Pune, etc.
Now top colleges of IPU also offer a chance to live in a big city like Delhi, exposure and smart people but it lacks in placements for BBA students.
2) If you plan on going for MBA or any other competitive exams afterwards then you should think in terms of time management and money. What I mean by that is you should go for a college where you don't spend a lot of money and college activities don't take up so much time that you can't prepare for CAT or any other exams (Symbi Pune will be a serious and engaging experience where your college life will take up a lot of your time)
So, in a nut shell.
- Symbiosis Pune - Good exposure, Good placements but expensive and time consuming 3 years
- IPU top colleges - Good exposure, average placements, not that time consuming since the career stakes aren't that high over there
- NSUT - Average exposure, average placements, affordable fees.
take some time and decide what you want to do after BBA then you may be able to make an informed and reasonable decision, don't rush it.
best of luck, Good day!
Hello Vivek ,
Congrats on securing such a good rank . The EWS category was introduced only recently so not exact cutoff information is available on that . But what is known for sure is that EWS category seats are very limited so one needs to have a really good rank to stand a chances to get through this category. You have secured 29th rank and I think you can easily get all top colleges like Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies-[SSCBS] ,Deen Dayal Upadhyay ,Keshav MahaVidayalay etc . Remember the admission chance also depends on the number of seats available and number of applicants .You have pretty high category rank so nothing to worry.

All the best
Hello aspirant,
Well last year for bbe rank 50%was 12th marks and 50%JAT marks.
So many students who didn't got good marks in JAT but great score in boards. So they left bbe and take seats in other colleges in other courses. These are those students who didn't got good ranks in bbe(basically above 500+rank).And they were getting good colleges on the basis of cut offs.
And that's why last year my friend's rank was between 1400-1500 and he got bbe because many students left bbe.
But this year only weightage is given to JAT marks and GD/PI so this year it's difficult to say that what will be the last rank for bbe as there is very less possiblity that many students will leave bbe this year even if they aren't getting a very good bbe college.
