i am 12th humanities student and i wanna take attepmt of DU JAT can i give this exam without having math as a main subject........but for exam i can prepare my self

Tanya Gupta 12th Mar, 2024

Hello,

Yes, you can take the DU JAT even if you are a humanities student without math as your main subject. The DU JAT primarily tests your proficiency in Quantitative Ability, Reasoning and Analytical Ability, General English, and Business and General Awareness. While a background in mathematics may be helpful for some sections, you can certainly prepare yourself for the exam with dedicated study and practice. Focus on strengthening your skills in areas like reasoning, analytical thinking, and general awareness to maximize your chances of success in the DU.

Hope this helps you ,

Thank you

Sir I have passed my 12 exam in 2019 And now I wanted to give entrance exam of DU JAT 2021 Can I give the exam?

Shubham Dhane 3rd Feb, 2021

Hello,

There is no age limit for DU JAT exam so as long as you have passed your 10+2 level with aggregate of 60% or more marks then you will be eligible to give DU JAT 2021. There is no information regarding when the application from will be released or when the DU JAT 2021 will be conducted. Here is the marking scheme for DU JAT 2021

  • Four marks will be awarded for each correct response

  • One mark will get deducted for each wrong answer

  • If more than one answer is marked, then in such case candidate will get -1

  • For unattempted question, no marks will be awarded or deducted

hello I scored 66 percentile in du jat and 73% in best four is there a chance of getting in du??

Shoaib Akhtar 15th Oct, 2020

Hello harsh

This year DU's cutoffs went quite high as compare to the last year cutoffs. So at this DU JAT percentage and board percentage ,it seems hard for you to get into DU . However nothing can be said with complete surety as cutoff may vary year to year or you may even get some not so reputed (yet good) colleges .

Best wishes

I scored 88.75% in cbse and scored 191/400 in du jat bbe/bms/bba(fia) and Im from general category. what could be my rank approximately?

ABHIK SHAW 8th Nov, 2020

Hello,

Du gives weightage of 65% and 35% to DU JAT Score and class 12 examination marks. Based upon that and taking into consideration the previous year cutoffs, you seem to have less chances for general category, since the cutoffs for general category are higher with respect to the other categories.

Ive scored 60.25 composite score in du jat which college can i get?

ABHIK SHAW 31st Oct, 2020

Hello,

Based upon your composite score, and considering the fact that you are from the general category, it is very tough for you to get admission to colleges under Delhi University for BMS or BBE. The competition is always tough with the number of applicants more than the total vacancies.

i had a composite score of 63 in du jat 2020 ...will i get top colleges??

ABHIK SHAW 31st Oct, 2020

Hello,

Based upon your composite score of 63, it will be very difficult for you to get the top colleges for admission to BMS or BBE course under Delhi University. The cutoffs are difficult to predict since the cutoffs change every year.

The expected cutoffs might be something like this -

  1. Saheed Sukhdev College - 230 to 240 for BMS
  2. Deen Dayal Upadhyay - 210 to 200 for BMS
  3. keshav Maharaj - 200 to 210 marks for BMS
  4. Saheed Sukhdev College - 230 to 240 for BBA
