Hello,

.

CMAT percentile is calculated using the formula 100 X Number of candidates appeared in the examination with raw marks EQUAL TO OR LESS than the candidate/ Total number of the candidates appeared. Can you please suggest some NITs which accept CMAT 2020 score?

Sampriti Gupta Student Expert 1st Feb, 2020
All the NITs accept CAT scores but among them NIT Rourkela and NIT Silchar accept CMAT scores also. You can get a call from there if you score a minimum of 70 percentile in CMAT. The MBA fees for NIT Rourkela is nearly 4.33 lakhs and that of NIT Silchar is 1.6 lakhs. The average compensation package offered there is around 4-5 lakhs. But if you want to have a good career in management then NITs are not a suitable option.

You can also check out some top colleges which accept CMAT scores and can assure you a good career ahead. The following is a list of the reputed colleges accepting CMAT along with their academic fee
  • SIMSREE Mumbai (1.2 lakhs)
  • GIM Goa (20 lakhs)

  • KJ Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research (14.93 lakhs)

i got 187 marks in cmat 2020..what percentile will i get

Ayush Mishra 1st Feb, 2020

Ashi, To be honest, it is very difficult to predict the percentiles at this point of time as the marks vs percentile considerations vary almost every year due to difference in total no of candidates and the difficulty level of the exam. However, looking at previous year's(2019) trends, you can expect a percentile close to 60, more precisely in the range 58-64 . As I have already told you these are only predictions and the actual result may be more or even less than this and do not treat it as actual percentile. At this percentile and the corresponding rank, it is very difficult to get the best government colleges, however, you may get some average government and also many private colleges.

To find out which colleges you would get based on these scores, you can use this CMAT pathfinder to predict https://bschool.careers360.com/pathfinder/cmat?icn=CMAT_path&ici=CMAT_article_view_sticky

  • Prin LN Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research Bangalore (fees = 11 lakhs)
  • NL Dalmia Mumbai (9.3 lakhs)
  • SIES Mumbai (7.9 lakhs)
  • IMT Hyderabad (12 lakhs)
