i got 56 percentile in cmat my acdaemics are 10-5.4cgpa 12-83.40 grad-70

Sampriti Gupta Student Expert 5th Feb, 2020
With your CMAT percentile you may not get the top colleges but you can still get a call from some decent colleges like
  • JIMS Rohini (fees = 7.7 lakhs)
  • NDIM New Delhi (9.3 lakhs)
  • BIMM Pune (7.85 lakhs)

These colleges do a profile based shortlisting. They don't require you to score a certain cutoff percentile in order to get a call. You'll just have to fill in their application form and they'll call you for the interview which is conducted in various cities across India. Your final selection will depend upon your performance in the GD/PI rounds but a certain weightage is assigned to the entrance exam scores also. So considering your scores you'll have to perform extremely well to get finally selected.

If you belong to the state of Maharashtra then you can also expect a call from
  • SIES Mumbai (7.9 lakhs)
  • NL Dalmia Mumbai (9.3 lakhs)

These two colleges also shortlist candidates, who belong  to Maharashtra based on profile. For students of other states they require a minimum of 99.94 percentile for SIES and 99.83 percentile for NL Dalmia

I have 51 percentile in CMAT, which college can I get admission

Ayush Mishra 5th Feb, 2020

Arvind, To be honest, you have an average percentile in CMAT (this is the expected percentile I am assuming)as mentioned in your query and it would be very difficult for you to get any good government college, however, you can get admission to some decent private B-schools. Here is a list of some of them--

SDMIMD, MYSORE

ISBM, PUNE

SCMS, COCHIN

JIMS, ROHINI

JAIPURIA, NOIDA

GITAM SCHOOL OF INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS, VISAKHAPATNAM

APEEJAY SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT, DELHI

DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT SCIENCES, SAVITRIBAI PHULE PUNE UNIVERSITY

LAL BAHADUR SHASTRI INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT AND TECHNOLOGY, BAREILLY

You do have some chances in these colleges, however, you can also look at other entrance examinations too to boost your chances in getting into a good college.

To find out which colleges you would get based on these scores, you can use this CMAT pathfinder to predict https://bschool.careers360.com/pathfinder/cmat?icn=CMAT_path&ici=CMAT_article_view_sticky

is 232 a good score in cmat? which colleges will I get??

Ayush Mishra 5th Feb, 2020

Abhirup, In response to the first part of your query, Yes, this is a good score which would provide you admission opportunities to many good B- schools. Now over to the second part of your query. Before any prediction of college, let us first predict your expected percentile. To be honest, it is difficult to predict the percentiles as the marks vs percentile consideration may change owing to change in the number of applicants or difficulty level of the paper. However, we can use the 2019 marks vs percentile calculation to predict your percentile and in your case, it comes out to be close to 80, may be in range 78-82. At this percentile, you would get many good government as well as private colleges like:-

BIRLA INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY, GREATER NOIDA

FLAME UNIVERSITY, PUNE

NL DALMIA INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES AND RESEARCH, MUMBAI

KIIIT SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT, BHUBANESWAR

INSTITUTE OF INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS AND RESEARCH, PUNE

INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY, NAGPUR

If you want to predict all the colleges you would get based on your score and the graduation credentials, you can use this CMAT PATHFINDER
