i got 145 mark in cmat which college i will get for MBA

I got 178 marks in CMAT how to calculate percentile for it

Hello,
You can calculate your percentile with a simple formula.

P = ( N - your rank) / N 100

Where p is your percentile, N is no. Of total students.
Well, you are getting around 70 percentile with this score.

at a score of 77 .18 which mba colleges i can get

Hi Aman,

As you have secured a average percentile score in CAT. And to get other IIM , you need to have a CAT percentile of 95+. As you have secured only 77.18 percentile in CAT you would only get call from other institutes. On the percentile secured by you in CAT Exam , you will get some good colleges. The colleges you get are:

I got 151 marks in CMAT so which colleges I got

With your CMAT scores you can still check out some decent colleges like

NDIM New Delhi (fees = 9.3 lakhs)
BIMM Pune (7.85 lakhs)
JIMS Rohini (7.7 lakhs)

These colleges do a profile based shortlisting. They don't require a candidate to score a particular percentile in order to get a call. You'll just have to apply for the college through their official website paying a certain registration amount and select the city where you want your interview to be conducted. They'll call you for the process and your final selection will be based on your performance in the GD/PI rounds. They mostly assess the candidate's communication skills and employability. But some weightage is assigned to the scores of the entrance exams also. But if you perform well in the GD/PI rounds you can easily get through.

Apart from that if you belong to the state of Maharashtra then you can also expect a call from colleges like SIES Mumbai and NL Dalmia as they also do a profile based shortlisting for students from Maharashtra but for others the minimum CMAT cutoff is 99.94 and 99.83 percentile respectively.

The above mentioned colleges are the best colleges you can get with your scores. All of them are good for marketing and finance. The average compensation package offered there is nearly 6-7 lakhs. But there are certain other colleges also that consider this score of CMAT but you must keep them as a last resort

IPE Hyderabad (fees = 8.15 lakhs)
IIRM Jaipur (7.2 lakhs)
SCMS Cochin (7.5 lakhs)
SDMIMD Mysore (2.5 lakhs)
MET Mumbai and others (8 lakhs)

These colleges are pretty average colleges. Academics are decent but the placements there are not up to the mark. 50-60% students do get placed but the job roles mostly offered are that for sales.

Hello,

I recommend you to do preparation this year. If you will prepare with all you focus and determination then definitely you can score really good marks in the next year exam. So if you can take a year break, so best is to prepare well and give it another try. You can also give mat exam, it takes place 4 times in a year. And last option is you can take direct admission too if you don't want to waste your one year.
