Hello,

The eligibility criteria to appear in CMAT for MBA program is that candidate must have passed bachelor's degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks and for SC/ST/Pwd it is 45% marks from a recognized board.

And the eligiblity for MAH CET is that candidate must have passed bachelor's degree in any discipline with 50% marks or its equivalent and for reserved category/pwd it is 45% those who belong to Maharashtra. Candidates belonging to other state must have passed bachelor's degree with 50% marks irrespective of their category.

how to score 99.9+ in cmat?? is there any guidelines

S. Saha Student Expert 3rd Jul, 2020
First go through the entire syllabus and then make a proper and programmatic study schedule. There are four sections in CMAT Quantitative techniques and data interpretation, General awareness, Logical reasoning and Language comprehension, So you have to prepare accordingly. Get the best books for preparing for CMAT. Choosing books sectionwise would be better. For Vocabulary, Grammar and Comprehension part, Word Power Made easy by Norman Lewis, English Grammar by Wren and Martin. For logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation, The Pearson Guide to Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning for the CAT by Nishit K Sinha and For Quantitative Aptitude, RS Aggarwal's book will be good or How to Prepare for Quantitative Aptitude for CAT by Arun Sharma. Social Issues and Institution by Wizard Publication for general awareness and read newspapers also. In quantitative aptitude, focus more on Permutation, Combination, Bar Graph, Tables, Geometry etc. In logical reasoning many questions come from Linear arrangements, blood relations, Coding-decoding etc. Once done with the syllabus, you can move on to solving previous year test papers and give mock tests as much as possible.

how can I do the preparation for CMAT exam and from where I can get the reading material

harshitasharansrivastava Student Expert 20th Jun, 2020

Hi Dear,

To prepare for CMAT exam you don not need any specific study material. What is required is practice and coverage of all the topics. The questions are asked from four sections which are:

  • Language Comprehension;
  • Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation;
  • Logical Reasoning;
  • General Awareness.

For general awareness keep yourself updated about current happening and static GK. Also It is very important to read newspaper regularly. You can refer to LOD I and LOD II of all the topics from Arun Sharma Book for all other sections. Speed is not a issue in CMAT exam, but what you need to focus on is accuracy which can be obtained through practice and mock analysis.

Good Luck
