hi,
see most of the indian institute cgpa based grading system and you have to fill your graduation marks in most of the application either in cgpa or in percentage system. in theoretically cgpa and cpi is same and cpi is the average of the all semester spi you have obtained in your exam. however if there is option to enter for percentage then it would be better to use percentage since you have percentage of marks in your provisional certificate. however if possible do contact with exam control authority for clarification.
Hi Dear,
Yes, you need to apply to different colleges accepting CMAT to be eligible for admission in those college. Also, you'll need to pay fees separately for each college you are applying. CMAT score helps you getting admission in the colleges applied in order to meet the cut off and be eligible for further rounds of selection like GDPI etc. Also, just applying to colleges. do not guarantee you call or selection to that college. Each college will declare there call letters after considering your overall profile. And then you'll be eligible to sit for further rounds of selection.
Good Luck

Hello
For CMAT exam (for admission in MBA and PGDM course) you have to have a minimum of 15 years of formal education from a recognized board as well as 50% in your graduation. Since you have 80% you have cleared the requirement and are eligible to apply for the CMAT exam.
That being said, you must clear the backlog before the counselling begins (after the CMAT result is declared). If you have a backlog in graduation during your counselling it means you have not graduated from that institute yet hence try to clear it as soon as possible.
All the best!
