Is 80%ile including Cat score,gd,pi academic weightage enough for admission in FMS in SC category.

Vikas Gaur 22nd May, 2018

Hi Ravi

Suraj Mallick 15th Jun, 2018

I am sorry to say if you are a general category student then you won't be able to apply for CAT examination because as an eligibility criterion to appear in CAT examination you need to have atleast 50% marks in 10th, 12th and graduation. If you are an SC/ST category

I have got a reappear in 2nd year of graduation and going to attempt for CAT in 3rd year. What will happen. It will create a problem???

Suraj Mallick 15th Jun, 2018

No, it would not be a problem as long as your overall score in graduation is more than 50%. However you are very likely to be asked about it in your interview. So make a story and be ready to defend it.

All the best!

I am currently pursuing 2nd year .. and i have 18 months around for CAT 19..and my academic performance is average. .so what the chance

Suraj Mallick 24th May, 2018

FMS does not put weightage on past academics. So focus on getting an excellent score in CAT. Score above 99 and you have one leg inside FMS. All the best.
