No, CAT score is valid only for that year. You need to apply and appear for CAT again if you intend to take admission on the basis of CAT score. Hope this helps!

There cannot be any confirmation as such! There have been cases where even a 100 percentiler has not got call from all IIMs. As a lower limit, above 85% in 12 and above 99+ should do. I have assumed here that you are from general category and have no work
