Hi. Following is the eligibility criteria for CAT:

Candidate must have passed with at least 50% in graduation. Final year students can also apply.

Hence, anyone can apply for CAT and for n number of times.

Your 12th percentage will make you ineligible for IIM A/B/C/I. But, you have chances at other IIM's. So prepare well and since you belong to a non engg background, you have a higher chance of converting with a good percentile in CAT 2018.
