M.Tech or MBA truly depends on few factors such as where are doing engineering, what do you know and think about
Yes average package will difdfer for all colleges however national standard average package based on decent experience and qualifications shall have rnage of 5 - 8lpa since this is niche course with celebrities and sports management firm.

1. I would suggest if your basics are clear join any reputated coaching class mocks(test series) to analyse yourself where you stand along with purchasng their books and practicing them.
2. If you dont have any idea ,
It depends on which course you select. For Undergraduate courses CaT is not applicable.
For MBa courses, CAT /CMAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/GMAT are accepted.
