So, if your post graduation degree have minimum 50% then you are eligible. As per your B.Com (//B.Com) degree, you are not eligible because you don't have at least 50%.

Yes definitely you can change your category to OBC because CAT 2021 data is nowhere linked to that of 2022 data.
When the CAT Application form will release you can check out the steps given below for very simplified application process :-
Step 1 : Visit the official site which would be iimcat.ac.in
Step 2 : Now fill-up the details and Generate CAT login ID and Password.
Step 3 : Re-login and Fill CAT 2022 Application form
Step 4 : Now upload all the scanned documents enlisted below.
Step 5 : Pay the CAT 2022 registration fee.
Step 6 : Submit the completed CAT 2022 Registration form.
Step 7 :Download the CAT 2022 Application confirmation page for future references.
The documents which you will need during the application process of CAT 2021 are enlisted below with their required specifications :-
** Colour Passport Photograph
** Signature (Black/Blue)
** Category Certificate to be uploaded during CAT 2022 registration(if required)

Writing CAT in the final year itself, saves a one year because if the results are as per your expectations, you will get your desired college as soon as you are out of your graduation. On the other hand, if you prepare for CAT once you have graduated, you are certain to lose one year and also will have additional pressure of finding job.

According to the previous trends, you can easily get into IIM Ahmedabad even at a percentile in the range of 92 to 95, which is a safe estimate for your admission in the OBC NCL category.
