No , it's not possible to get a seat on government colleges even in home state quota. Also you can't able to have a seat on NITs or other government ones. But don't loose hope because you have so many options on autonomous and private bodies.

CAT has 3 segments namely Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretations and Logical reasoning, and Quantitative Ability. Whereas TANCET has 5 sections namely Reading Comprehensions, English Grammar and usage, Quantitative Ability, Data Sufficiency and Analysis
