CMAT is conducted in online mode (computer-based) only. The exam is conducted by AICTE for admission to management programs in more than 1000 B-schools. The national level MBA entrance exam is conducted in more than 73 cities in India. Get more details about the exam here -

Hello UJJWAL, there is no good govt. MBA college, which offers admission on 85 percentile in CMAT. 

You can consider taking admission in some private B-School like Asia pacific institute, Delhi; L.N. Welingkar, Mumbai/Bangalore, IFIM Bangalore.

CMAT stands for common management admission test whereas MAT stands for management aptitude test. These both are admission tests for MBA and are very similar. However number of colleges accepting MAT score are more in number.
