Yes, you are eligible for CAT exam . If you are fullfiling the basic criteria provided by them as: 

  • The candidate must hold Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
  • Candidates in final year of Graduation are also eligible to apply for CAT 2019

Hello Ashotosh.

Because you scored 72 percentile in general category, it's not sufficient marks for getting admission in any nits.

But, there are many other options. You can appear for viteee and srmjeee which are private colleges. You can also choose cv raman, which is also a premium institute.

According to oyur rank, chances would be less for admission to Obstetrics and Gynecology and Peadiatrics course. However, you have decent chances of admission to other courses such as Anatomy, Physiology.

Registration number is the ticket number which you generally get after registration for any of the entrance exams. whereas, Enrollment is something which you get on your admit card once the registration is done.

CAT is a compulsory exam to join any in IIMs, If you are planning to join in IIMs you should have to write this test. I will share the name of other entrance exam and accepting institute also.

First of all, please do not think that coaching is absolutely necessary, else you will start relying on it completely.

Secondly, the time of coaching depends on how much you can retain and how quickly you can grasp. This varies according to people.

This question is very subjective. It varies on your current knowledge level and your ability to grasp the concepts. If your vocabulary and knowledge of English are decent enough, 6 months is enough to prepare for VARC.

However, please do note that VARC in CAT is quite different

Hello Aspirant,

Getting a top college on the score you got is difficult.
I would suggest you to look out for college offering PGDM. Target a college and research about it. Decide where you want to do your MBA( your location matters as the colleges depend on it).
