NIT  generally has very less cutoff for ST. So if you have a new NIT in your home state then probably you  can get a less demanded branch under home sate quota in your home state nit.This is the best you can expect.

Common Aptitude Test is test which is conducted by all the IIMs and it happen every year in the month of November. This year CAT exam will be held on 24TH November.

So yes CAT exam is the only way to get into Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak.

To be eligible for CAT 2019 a candidate needs to have 50% in Bachelor's degree if belonging to general category. For candidates belonging to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe and Differently Able categories the cutoff is 45%.
