IPU CET MBA Admission 2025: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) will release the application form for the IPU CET MBA admission 2025 on its official website, ipu.ac.in after the release of CAT result. Apart from CAT, Candidates can appear and obtain a valid score in the IPU CET entrance exam or CMAT exam for MBA admission 2025. The CMAT or IPU CET scorecard will be considered only after filling the seats based on CAT scorecard. GGSIPU is a state-level university that offers admission to various UG, PG, and Ph.D. programmes including MBA. IPU CET MBA admission 2025 will be done based on merit in the Common Aptitude Test (CAT), CMAT and IPU CET MBA exam 2025. If seats remain vacant after counselling based on the merit of CAT 2024, then IPU CET counselling will be conducted based on CMAT scores. If seats are vacant after exhausting CAT and CMAT merit, then IPU CET MBA 2025 will be considered for IPU MBA admissions.
As already discussed above, if seats remain vacant after IP University MBA counselling based on merit CAT 2024, then counselling shall be conducted on the basis of score in CMAT score. In case the seats still remain vacant even after exhausting CAT and CMAT merit, the university will consider admission to MBA programmes by IPU Common Entrance Test (CET).

Candidates who wish to apply for IPU MBA admissions 2025 can follow these step-wise instructions to fill the IPU MBA registration form 2025.
Step 1 - Check the official website
Candidates need to visit the official website i.e. ipu.ac.in to fill the IP University MBA admission 2025 registration form.
Step 2 - Registration for IPU CET MBA 2025
The next step is for candidates to click on the ‘Registration’ tab. Candidates will be redirected to the application form page of MBA from IP University.
Step 3 - Re-login and fill the IPU MBA 2025 Application Form
There are two parts to the IPU CET MBA application form 2025. In the first part, candidates are required to enter basic details i.e. general information. Whereas, in the second part candidates need to provide details pertaining to the course to which they are applying to.
Step 4 - Select NON-CET Programme MBA
Once the necessary details are filled, then candidates will move towards the second part of the registration form filling. In this, candidates will have to select the course in which they are applying i.e. IPU CET MBA.
Step 5 - Fill Personal Details and Upload Documents
Personal details like complete name, name of parents, date of birth, nationality, contact details, etc., are to be entered by candidates. Post which candidates will have to upload a scanned image as per specifications.
The image should be of .jpeg/.jpg or.gif format only and it should be under 10kb - 100 KB in size.
Candidates should upload a recent colour photograph with a white background of size as specified.
Step 6 - Preview application form, enter academic details
After uploading documents, candidates can continue further, or if they want they can close the window and preview the registration form. Apart from personal details, candidates will be required to enter their academic details like qualifying exam, marks, year of qualifying etc.,
After filling in basic information in the IPU MBA admission 2025 registration form, candidates will have to choose the category to which they belong. Select the appropriate category option from– SC/ST/OBC/UR/EWS/Physically Handicapped/Persons with disability/Defence and J & K Migrant. In case the candidate belongs to a general category then they will not select any of the above-mentioned categories.
Step 7 - Click the ‘Submit’ tab
After filling the IPU MBA 2025 application form basic and academic details, candidates need to click on the check the declaration box. The check sign shows the candidate's acceptance.
Step 8 - Application fee payment
The GGSIPU MBA fees of application form of Rs. 1500 excluding processing charges and taxes (if any) has to be paid by candidates. The application fees paid are non-refundable.
Step 9 - After the final submission, take a printout of the application form
After final payment, candidates will be redirected to the submission page. They are requested to download the receipt of the application form as it will contain various important details.

Candidates will be able to download the admit card of IPU CET MBA 2025 online by entering their IPU candidate login ID and password generated at the time of filling out the application form. The IPU CET MBA e-admit card 2025 will be sent by the university on the registered email ID of IP University applicants. Candidates can find details such as name, roll number, photograph, signature, exam date and timings, exam centre on their IP University admit card. Candidates must carry their admit card to the examination hall, without which entry will not be allowed. There are certain rules and guidelines that will be printed on the back of the IP University 2025 admit card which should be abided by the candidates.

The IPU CET MBA 2025 result is released in the form of a PDF as a merit list. The university declared and displayed the ranks of only those candidates who are declared as qualified in the CET 2025 conducted by the university and for the National Level Test (CAT/CMAT). The candidates will be called for counselling for admission depending upon the number of seats available in each programme. The admissions will be made only out of these qualified and eligible candidates strictly in order of merit.
The cutoff is the minimum mark required by the candidate to qualify for the exam. In the case of an MBA (IT), the IPU CET MBA cutoff 2025 will be declared in online mode and the same is for candidates eligible for MBA regular programmes through CAT 2024 exam.
IPU CET MBA shortlist 2025 for MBA admission has been prepared based on marks obtained in the CAT/CMAT/IPU CET. The final IPU MBA admission is based on merit and performance in a personal interview. The university will be conducting centralized counselling for all the colleges affiliated with it on the basis of scores obtained in CAT 2024, CMAT 2025 and thereafter on the basis of IPU CET 2025.
Students will be required to choose the college/institute during the counselling. IPU MBA admission 2025 shall be based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination (Graduation) and performance in a personal interview. After this, the final IPU CET MBA merit list shall be prepared based on the weightage awarded to various components – Academic profile, CAT score, and personal interview.
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IPU) will conduct the centralized online counselling for MBA (through CAT/CMAT/CET). IPU MBA admission 2025 will be done on the basis of merit/rank received by the candidate/s. If seats will get filled through CAT 2024, then the IPU MBA 2025 admission will probably stop. If the seats remain vacant, then CMAT 2025 and IPU CET MBA 2025 scores will be considered for admissions respectively. Step 2 - Online Registration Process: Generate Application Sequence Number and password for subsequent logins
Step 3 - Re-login and complete the remaining activities like application form submission, image uploading, fee payment and choice filling

Note - Already registered candidates will have to pay Rs. 1000 plus charges as counselling participation fees. While fresh candidates who are not registered with GGSIPU have to deposit Rs. 2500 plus charges (Rs. 1500 application fees and Rs. 1,000 counselling fees).
Any vacant seats which are left after the admission of candidates to institutions only will be considered for filling in the spot counselling. All eligible candidates who are desirous to take admission through spot counselling will have to pay separate counselling fees. All candidates who have not taken admission will be eligible to participate in the spot counselling.
The following is the weightage for IPU MBA admission 2025 at IPU given for making the final selection in the MBA programme at USMS (University School of Management Studies) and other GGSIPU MBA colleges through a centralized counselling process.

The seat will be allotted to the candidates in the order of the rank list and the choices filled.
The seat allotment will be done in each round. In the first round seats will be allotted and in the following round seats will be allotted against the available vacancies.
Round 1 of seat allotment: Seat will be allotted in the process of rank list and preferences set by the candidate.
Round 2 of seat allotment: Only for eligible candidates and subsequent round of seat allotment. There are three groups of eligible candidates:
Group 1 - Freeze candidates
These candidates will not be allowed to submit fresh choices or modify choices. The seat allotted in round 1 will be retained and their allotted category may be upgraded
Group 2 - Float candidates
These candidates will be allowed to modify/add new choices. They can upgrade their choices but the previously allotted seat will remain a valid choice in this round. Candidates will not be allowed to delete the choice but will be able to rearrange the choice in the order of their preference.
Group 3 - No seat allotted candidates
Candidates who didn't get any seat in the previous round will be able to modify their choices or their existing choices will be considered.
Candidates who will have paid the academic fee of Rs. 40,000 can opt to withdraw from the counselling schedule at a specified time and date. Such candidates will be required to enter the password to confirm the withdrawal. Once the withdrawal is done, the seat allotted to the candidate will be cancelled, and will not be able to participate in the subsequent rounds.
