IIM Raipur Exits CAP 2025: Check IIM Raipur Selection Criteria, Cut Off, Admission Process
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Raipur released the admission criteria for PGP/ MBA admission 2025-27 on its official website. As per the IIM Raipur selection criteria, the IIMR has revised the MBA admission process this year. Based on the revised IIM Sambalpur admission process 2025, candidates need not apply through CAP 2025. Candidates will be shortlisted directly based on their CAT scores and personal interview. The shortlisting for PI will begin from the second week of January 2025. The IIM Raipur PI will conducted from February 10 to March 9, 2025. IIM Raipur Admission Criteria 2025
IIM Raipur admission process has two-stage process, i.e., shortlisting candidates for personal interview (PI) and final selection. To be eligible for admissions at IIM Raipur, candidates must have a valid score in the Common Admission Test conducted by the IIMs. As per the IIM Raipur 2025 admission criteria, the institute will use CAT 2024 score to shortlist candidates for the personal interview process, and the final selection of candidates. The institute will not conduct the Writing Ability Test (WAT). This year, IIM Raipur will not be part of the Common Admission Process (CAP) 2025.

IIM Raipur Selection Criteria 2025: Admission Stages
Candidates can check the complete selection process of IIM Raipur for the PGP programme of the academic year 2025-2027. The admission process for IIM Raipur PGP programme follows a two-stage process;
- Stage 1: Shortlisting Candidates For Personal Interview (PI)
- Stage 2: Final Selection
IIM Raipur will release the list of selected candidates category-wise (General, EWS, NC-OBC, SC and ST) on the basis of a composite score of CAT exam, PI, GD, etc. The institute reserves all the rights to modify the shortlisting criteria for personal interview and final selection at any point of time of admission process. STEP 1: Online registration of candidates after the declaration of the CAT 2024 results
All candidates who have selected IIM Raipur in the CAT 2024 application form and have fulfilled the minimum educational and CAT 2024 related eligibility criteria mentioned here will receive an email invitation from the admission office of IIM Raipur to register online. Candidates who complete the online registration process will be considered for step 2 of the admission process. Please note that this is a pre-interview registration process, not an interview call.
Minimum Academic Eligibility (MAC)
- Graduate degree candidates must have secured at least 60% aggregate marks (50% for SC, 45% for ST/ PwD) in their degree course.
- Non Graduate Candidates who have completed CA/CMA(ICWA)/CS should have minimum 50% aggregate marks in CA/CMA(ICWA)/CS.

STEP 2: Shortlisting of candidates for the GD and PI
The process in step 2 is applicable to all candidates who have completed their online registration after receiving the email invitation from IIM Raipur. Shortlisting of candidates in each category for participation in PI and GD will be prepared on the basis of an Aggregate Index Score (AIS). AIS is calculated on the basis of performance on CAT 2024, Class 10, Class 12, Gender and Academic Diversity criteria.

The shortlist of candidates for the personal interview process will be prepared based on the CAT 2024 score. Candidates who clear the CAT cutoff as well as the sectional CAT cut off for IIM Raipur will be called for the PI Process. The shortlisting of candidates profiles will begin from the first week of January 2025. STEP 3: Final Score for Preparing the Merit List
The components of the final score and their corresponding weights are specified in the below table. GD and PI are part of final mark calculation. Candidates selected in STEP 2 will appear in GD and PI conducted in the following eight cities: New Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, Lucknow, Guwahati and Raipur.
Candidates can select their interview city in step 1 of registration process. Candidates will be given advance notification about the date and time of GD and PI. Accordingly, they will report at the place of interview. The final score for preparing the merit list will consist of the elements mentioned in the table

Authorities will also consider Gender diversity factors to ensure the balance between gender. While considering this factor, IIM Raipur provides eight (7) marks to the female candidates. Those who belong to non-engineering streams in their graduation will get four (4) marks. IIM Raipur Admission Criteria 2025: Reservation Policy
IIM Raipur will consider the Government of India (GOI) reservation policy for admission to Central Educational Institutions (CEIs).
IIM Raipur Admission Criteria 2025 - Offer Acceptance fee and Withdrawal Policy
Admission offer acceptance fee is to be paid within the stipulated date and time stated in the admission offer letter. The admission acceptance fee of 1,00,000 using the IIM Raipur payment portal. Those who wish to withdraw from the programme within specified period by the institute, they will be refunded the offer acceptance fee after the deduction of Rs 1000 as a processing fee.
Apart from that, if a candidate withdraws their admission after the withdrawal date specified by the institute, then he or she will be paid after deducting the hostel fees and other charges will also be applied if the seat is filled, else, total fee will be forfeited.
IIM Raipur Admission Merit List 2025
Merit list will be based on the authenticity of the information shared by candidates in the CAT application. After completion of the selection process, the officials of IIM Raipur will prepare a final merit list based on mentioned components. While preparing the final merit list, authorities will consider candidates' past academic qualification, CAT score as well as relevant work experience. Those who find their name in the merit list will have to accept the offer by paying acceptance fee.

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur will release the fee structure for the PGP programme for the academic year 2025–27 on the official website.
