Q. Internships are now mandatory as per AICTE guidelines. Does TGBS Mumbai help students with this? If yes how?
Ans: Internships are a crucial stepping stone in securing final placements as they provide students with real-world experience, business knowledge, and networking opportunities. As part of our PGDM programme, students have to undergo internships of at least 45-60 days. Students have to mandatorily take up Summer Internships post their semester II, typically in May-Jun. Students are assisted by the TGBS placement cell in obtaining summer internships with leading organisations. The placement cell invites companies for summer internships, receives requirements, floats JDs with the students, receives student applications for the JD, and coordinates with companies in conducting the selection process. Post internships students are required to submit feedback and testimonials to the placement cell and present their internship project as an academic deliverable.
