Duration of Symbiosis BBA Online Courses 2025-28
The Symbiosis Online BBA is a 3-year undergraduate degree program divided into six semesters. Students can specialize in the following:
- General BBA
- BBA with single specialization
- BBA with double specialization
The centre for distance education and online education in Pune offers the Symbiosis online BBA programme to the students, which has a duration of 3 years or 36 months. This course is a semester-based programme which means that throughout the 3 years, the students have to appear for 6 semesters. The students need to qualify each semester with a minimum of 40% to get promoted to the next semester.
NOTE: Each semester consists of 30% of internal components and 70% of external components in examination.
Eligibility Criteria for Symbiosis Online BBA Programme 2025-28
To take part in the symbiosis BBA online course, the students must have some minimum eligibility criteria so that they can get admissions.
- The minimum eligibility criteria for the Symbiosis BBA online course consist of a minimum educational qualification of 10+2 (Class 12) or an equivalent level from any recognized board and institution.
- The students must also possess a minimum aggregate of 50% in the 12th grade or equivalent for the online BBA course offered at Symbiosis Pune.
- For the students belonging to the SC/ST category, there is a relaxation of 5% in the minimum aggregate. There is no strict mention of any stream—the students can be from science, arts, or commerce backgrounds.

Grading System for Symbiosis BBA Online Programme
The online Symbiosis BBA programme has a maximum grade point corresponding to ‘O.’ The students must pass both the internal and external exams with a minimum grade point of 4 to be declared passed (Grade P). Students who score less than 40% overall marks in any subject will be declared failed. A degree will be awarded to those students only who have a minimum of 4 GPA out of the maximum of 10 GPA.
