Careers360: Tell us something about the admission process.

Mr. Ritesh Goyal: GIBS Bangalore admission process is very transparent and designed methodologically so that every talent gets the right opportunity for management education.

Any student having a Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3 or 4) with a minimum 50% marks in any discipline from universities/institutions recognized by AICTE/UGC/AIU can apply for a PGDM course. Candidates can apply based on CAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, MAT, ATMA, State CET tests, and NMAT by GMAC where applicable and as per AICTE guidelines.

After the application is found correct, an applicant has to go through a standard group discussion and interview. A personal interview is one such phase in which we attempt to understand the students' potential. Also, we try to see their hidden talent and positive attitude. After this process, which is done under the supervision of experts, it is easy for us to choose the right candidate. Applicants chosen in this way do better in school and become better business leaders in the long run.
