Candidates for IIT Delhi MBA admission are shortlisted based on their score obtained in CAT, academic performance, experience, and other parameters.

IIT MBA Admission 2026: Eligibility Criteria

According to the eligibility criteria of IIT MBA admission, candidates are required to meet the academic credentials which are laid down by the institute, marks that they should score at the graduation level to be eligible to apply for admission, depending on the category to which they belong. Check the eligibility criteria of the IIT admission for the MBA programme, which is being offered.

Masters in Business Administration (MBA) -

• The candidates must be having a bachelor’s degree or equivalent awarded by any of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India
• The bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification possessed by the candidate must be of at least three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent
• The candidates must have scored at least 60 percent marks in aggregate or 6.00 CGPA on a 10-point scale or equivalent in the qualifying degree
• The IIT Delhi MBA eligibility criteria 2026 mentions that candidates belonging to categories like SC/ST/PwD will get a relaxation of 5 percent in marks (i.e. min. 55%) or equivalent in CGPA (i.e. min. 5.50 on a 10-point scale)
• As per the IIT Delhi MBA admission eligibility criteria, candidates who are appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply. If selected, such candidates will be allowed to join the program provisionally, only if she/he submit a certificate by a certain date
• Candidates who apply to the IIT Delhi MBA programs after qualifying for the CAT 2025 will be shortlisted and then invited for an online interview, which will be held at IIT Delhi and IIT Madras.

Masters in Business Administration Telecom (MBA Telecom) -

• Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any branch of Engineering/ Technology/Architecture/Pharmacy/ BSc Agriculture Engineering of at least 4 years after 10+2

or

• The candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any branch of Physical/ Chemical/Mathematical Sciences like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Application, Electronic Science, Environmental Science, Operations Research, Computational/Information Science, Agriculture or a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/ Economics, CA/ICWA
• The candidates must have scored a minimum of 60 per cent marks in aggregate or 6.00 CGPA on a 10-point scale or equivalent in the qualifying degree
• Candidates belonging to categories like SC/ST/PwD will get a relaxation of 5 per cent in marks (i.e. min. 55%) or equivalent in CGPA (i.e. min. 5.50 on a 10-point scale)
• Candidates who are appearing for the final year of the bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply. If selected, such candidates will be allowed to join the program provisionally, only if she/he submit a certificate by a certain date
• Candidates who have applied to the IIT Delhi MBA programs after qualifying the CAT 2025 will be shortlisted and then will be invited for a WAT and interview, which will be held at IIT Delhi.

• General, GEN-EWS and OBC: Application fee for one programme is Rs 1600, and for two programmes is Rs 3,200
• SC/ST/PD: Application fee for one programme is Rs 800, and for two programmes is Rs 1,600

CAT Result 2025

IIM Kozhikode, the conducting body, has announced the CAT 2025 result on December 24, 2025. Candidates who appear for the CAT 2025 exam can check their results by entering their login credentials online. The result for CAT has been announced on the official CAT website. • Go to the link called State of Corporate/Institution: "National Capital Territory of Delhi".
  • Next, find and click the Corporate/Institution: "Educational Institutions" link.
  • Choose the following and click the "Go" button.
• Select the Educational Institute Name: "IITD REVENUE ACCOUNT (FEE COLLECTION)".
  • Click the "submit" button.
• Then select the Payment Category: IIT DELHI STUDENTS FEES (1st Semester 2026-2027) and pay the fee.
• Finally, sent the online receipt by mail.
