A number of factors are responsible for affecting the difficulty level of the CUET PG MBA examination. A few of the factors are listed below:
CUET PG MBA Syllabus and Exam Pattern: The vastness of the syllabus of the examination plays a major role in determining the overall difficulty level of an examination. If the candidates have a lot of syllabus to cover before the examination, this might demand more time for preparation and can make the examination slightly more difficult. Also, a recent change in the examination pattern may also impact the overall difficulty level of the examination depending on how fast a candidate is able to adapt to the changes.
Question Complexity: One of the major factors that plays a role in the CUET PG MBA exam difficulty level is the complexity of questions appearing in the examination. Generally, the quantitative aptitude section, as well as the data interpretation section, are considered to be more challenging due to the presence of higher order thinking skills questions. This can result in the CUET PG MBA exam difficulty level going above.
Number of Candidates: Another important factor that determines the difficulty of any examination is the number of aspirants who attempt the test. Since the CUET PG MBA is an in-demand CUET PG exam, the competition level also increases relatively. Higher competition makes scoring well more challenging.
Time Constraints: In the CUET PG MBA examination, the candidates must solve 75 questions within 90 minutes. This means that the candidates have only a tad over one minute to answer each question, there might be a few challenging questions across various topics, which may demand more time for solving. Due to this, the candidates may find it difficult to effectively manage their time, thereby increasing the difficulty of the examination.
Negative Marking Scheme: Another factor which greatly affects the difficulty of the CUET PG MBA examination is the negative marking that it follows. The examination follows a negative marking structure and 1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer given by the candidate. Multiple wrong answers could severely hamper the CUET PG score of the candidates and can result in an increased difficulty level.
