UPSEE MBA Counselling 2022: Dates, Cutoff Criteria (Merit List), Results

UPCET MBA Counselling 2022: The National Testing Agency will conduct the UPCET MBA 2022 counselling in online mode, the dates for which will be announced after the exam result. Only those applicants who have met the cutoff criteria and whose names are present in the merit list will be allowed to participate in the UPCET MBA counselling 2022 session of the admission procedure.

During the UPCET MBA counselling session, candidates will be allotted seats in their respective courses and colleges on the basis of merit. The scores obtained in UPCET will be taken into consideration during seat allotment. Selected candidates will have to submit their documents and pay the fee for confirmation of admission. UPCET MBA counselling 2022 will be held in multiple rounds.

UPCET MBA Counselling Dates 2022

UPCET 2022 is a state-level entrance exam held once a year for admission to the MBA programme at all affiliated institutes of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT), Gorakhpur and Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTU), Kanpur. UPCET MBA Counselling 2022 - Step by Step Process

Step 1 - Registration and Payment of Fee

• Candidates have to visit the official website of UPCET. Then they have to use their login credentials such as application number and password to log in.

• Afterwards, a page of terms and conditions for the UPCET 2022 counselling process will be visible on which the candidates have to click on the “I Agree” button. Personal details and the streams in which the candidates have qualified can be checked by the candidates.

• At the end, a “Do you belong to the Fee Waiver Scheme” field will be present and the candidates who are eligible for the same have to click on the box.

• Click on the “Submit” tab and make the payment of registration fees.

• Candidates who belong to the General or OBC category have to pay Rs 20,000 and reserved-category candidates need to pay Rs 12,000. Candidates can pay the fees via online mode i.e. Credit/Debit card or Internet banking.

• Candidates will get their registration fee back if they are not allotted a seat as per their choice.

• The registration fee for candidates who are allotted a seat and withdraw (by using the “Withdraw” option) will be refunded, after deduction of administrative charges with the rate of Rs 2000 per round of counselling, via online mode.

• Those candidates who confirm a seat via the “Freeze” option (in the First, Second or Third round)/ “Freeze with upgrade” option or “Freeze without upgrade” option in (Fourth round) and do not report for admission to the allotted institute will have their candidature at loss.

• After paying the registration fee, the candidates will receive a notification on their registered mobile number after which the candidates will be able to move on to choice locking and filling.

Step 2 - Choice Filling and Locking

• The candidates have to fill in their choices, change there, or delete their choices before locking them till the last date of choice filling.

• During choice filling, the candidates can save their choices. When candidates fix their preferred choice, they have to click on the ‘Lock’ tab. Once the preferred choice is locked, the candidates cannot change their options.

• Take a printout of their locked choices for future use.

• During choice filling, the candidates should fill plenty of choices in the list. This will help the candidates in increasing their selection for institutions and colleges.

Step 3 - Document Verification

• Candidates have to visit the centre for document verification like certificate and mark sheet verified.

• Candidates then have to carry all the requisite documents, original certificates, and self-attested photocopies of all the certificates that have to be deposited at the verification centre.

• Candidates can opt for a document verification centre at the time of registration according to their preference.

Step 4 - Allotment of Seats and Confirmation of Seats

• Subsequent to the completion of document verification, the result of seat allotment will be declared on the official website. If candidates find their names on the list, they will have to visit the allotted institutes to confirm their seats and for further process.
