Shreyansh: I am Shreyansh Singh, an MBA student in International Business and Marketing at IM-BHU with a robust background in Hospitality Management. My professional journey showcases a dynamic blend of technical expertise and practical skills, highlighted by my summer internship at the Airports Authority of India and previous work in hotel operations. Proficient in digital tools like Power BI, AutoCAD, and graphic design software, I have demonstrated leadership as the President of the FMS Media Club. My academic credentials and digital marketing and entrepreneurship certifications reflect my commitment to continuous learning and professional growth in the business landscape.
Careers360: What were the factors that made you choose BHU?
Shreyansh: I was strategically motivated to choose BHU because of its prestigious university brand value and the Institute of Management Studies' return on investment (ROI). BHU’s MBA programme in International Business, which has a marketing orientation, perfectly aligns with my professional background. Being from Varanasi, BHU provided an exceptional opportunity to pursue advanced education in my hometown while accessing world-class academic resources.
Careers360: What was the first thing you noticed about the campus and life at BHU?
Shreyansh: Upon arriving at BHU, I noticed the vibrant and intellectually stimulating campus atmosphere that blends academic rigor with rich cultural diversity. The IM campus immediately struck me with its dynamic environment, where students from various backgrounds converge to pursue ambitious professional goals. The campus infrastructure perfectly balances modern facilities and traditional academic ethos with state-of-the-art classrooms and collaborative spaces.
Careers360: What were the initial challenges you faced on campus?
Shreyansh: Despite being familiar with Varanasi, adapting to the vastness of the BHU campus was initially challenging. Balancing my academic workload with my social life was also a hurdle, but it helped me develop better time management skills.
Careers360: What do you think are unique facilities offered at BHU?
Shreyansh: IM BHU facilities include a vast, green campus, central libraries, and well-equipped labs. The diverse student body enriches the learning experience, while facilities like the sports complex, student health centers, and the spiritual ambiance of the New Vishwanath Temple provide holistic development opportunities.
Careers360: Give us a glimpse of your daily routine at the BHU campus.
Shreyansh: My daily routine starts with attending morning lectures, studying, and research time in the library or computer labs. Afternoons are dedicated to group discussions and club activities.
Careers360: What would it be if you were to rate one favorite thing at the BHU campus?
Shreyansh: My favorite aspect of the BHU campus is its peaceful and green environment. The serene gardens and open spaces create the perfect atmosphere for studying and connecting with nature.
Careers360: How would you rate the campus facilities?
Shreyansh: I would rate the campus facilities as excellent. The modern libraries, advanced laboratories, sports complex, and hospital, combined with the clean and green environment, contribute to a holistic learning experience.
Careers360: Which areas do you think can be improved?
Shreyansh: The hostel infrastructure could be upgraded to comfortably accommodate more students. Additionally, improving Wi-Fi connectivity across the campus would enhance the overall experience.
Careers360: Peer groups generally leave long-lasting impressions. What is your opinion on the peer groups at BHU?
Shreyansh: The peer groups at BHU are incredibly diverse, bringing together students from various cultures and backgrounds. This diversity fosters mutual learning and creates a supportive environment.
Careers360: What are the regular fun activities at BHU?
Shreyansh: BHU hosts cultural fests like Spandan and Kashi Yatra, sports events, literary competitions, and debate tournaments. These activities balance academic rigor with fun and make campus life dynamic.
Careers360: Name some of the prominent clubs at BHU. Which ones are you part of?
Shreyansh: At IM-BHU, prominent clubs include the Placement Club, Vis Vires Club, Sports Club, Kalpvriksha Club, and the E-cell. I am the President of the FMS Media Club, where I curate and promote the institute's notable moments through press releases. These clubs provide platforms for practical skill development and networking.
Careers360: Extracurricular activities cover a lot of things. Name some activities that you participate in.
Shreyansh: I actively participate in photography competitions like Pixel and Chitram and business-related events like Brand Baaja Bazaar. These activities enhance my creative and competitive skills.
Careers360: Stress busters are important. What are yours?
Shreyansh: My stress busters include listening to music, playing games, photography, and taking walks around the campus. These activities help me stay balanced during intense study programs.

Shreyansh: IM-BHU organizes workshops, guest lectures, industrial visits, and events like Ransangram and Unnayan. These activities combine learning with practical experience, preparing students for their careers in business.
Careers360: If you were to rate your academic infrastructure, what would be your opinion on a score of 1 to 10?
Shreyansh: I would rate IM-BHU’s academic infrastructure an 8 out of 10. While the classrooms and library are well-equipped, adding more innovative technology and collaborative spaces would further enhance the experience.
Careers360: How do campus life and interactions shape a student’s life?
Shreyansh: Campus life fosters personal growth, teamwork, and leadership. Interactions with peers broaden perspectives, nurture creativity, and build lifelong networks, making it a transformative experience.
