GIM Goa CutoffGIM Goa Cutoff - For the admission to the PGDM, PGDM(HCM), and PGDM(BDA) management programmes, GIM Goa considers students who qualify the GIM Goa cutoff of CAT exam. Last year the CAT cutoff of GIM Goa was 85 percentile.The cutoff of GIM Goa aids in screening candidates based on their scores. GIM Goa cutoff attributes a specific weightage (40 percent) which conjoins under Objective and Leadership Assessment. Along with CAT scores, IBS GIM Goa accepts the scores of XAT, CMAT, and GMAT as well. From this year, GIM Goa will not be accepting ATMA scores.


The Goa Institute of Management, Goa; commonly called GIM Goa will shortly release the CAT cutoffpercentile for 2018-20 session. The admission process does not deem the sectional scores of CAT; the GIM Goa cutoff incorporates the overall percentile of CAT entrance examination. Understanding of GIM Goa Cutoff


The cutoff of GIM Goa pertaining to CAT exam will be announced shortly (2018-20 batch). Aspirants can keep an eye on the article as the data would be updated as soon as GIM Goa declares the same. Till then, aspirants can refer to the last year’s exam percentiles to understand the GIM Goa cutoff pattern.

It should be noted that the qualifying cut-off of XAT / CAT / GMAT / CMAT score will be lowered by 15 points for candidates of Goan domicile/origin. This facility can be availed against documentary evidence of domicile which must be submitted to the office. The weightage of the entrance exams are clubbed with the Group Activity assessment.


Eligibility Criteria


The number of seats allotted for the full-time PGDM course is 240; for PGDM (HCM) and PGDM (BDA) course, it is 60. Abiding by the regulations of AICTE, an aspirant must obtain 50 percent aggregate scores (45 percent for candidates belonging to SC / ST category) to be eligible for the further rounds of admission. All candidates who satisfy the mentioned requirements for the degree by 5 June 2018 may apply as well. Candidates who are in their last year of degree should have obtained minimum 50 percent aggregate in the latest examination to become eligible for applying.


Selection Procedure of GIM Goa


The selection procedure to the Goa Institute of Management, Goa is strictly based on merit and performance. Following are the selection process of GIM Goa.

  • CAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, and ATMA score/percentile

  • Past Academic Records

  • Qualification

  • Work experience.

Shortlisted candidates shall be invited for an interview process (Personal Interview) in various cities in early March 2018 for the admission session of 2018-20. The final selection of students shall be made on the following parameters. All the mentioned components are subject to obtaining desired proficiency in written and communication and the minimum score for each evaluation component, barring work experience.
