Careers360: Tell something about yourself, such as your background and where you're from? Additionally, what motivates you to pursue a master's degree? Specifically, what are your aspirations and goals with obtaining an MBA?

Answer: Being a biotechnology engineer it wasn’t easy transitioning to a career in business. But at times life takes a different turn and you have to make the best decision possible. That’s me changing and adapting to the situations around me and being constant at it just like the city from where I belong, Mumbai. I have always wanted to pursue a master's degree, especially considering my background in previous ventures. For me, an MBA seemed like the ideal choice. I always felt that I lacked business knowledge and hope that the void will be filled with learnings on completion of my MBA.

Answer: Yes the institute does provide such opportunities. For instance, in our managerial finance class, we were taught by a faculty member who works in a financial consultancy. Careers360: What all initiatives are taken by the institute to make the classes and learning more engaging for all students?

Answer: The environment provided in every class is very interactive. Concepts of subjects are taught with the help of case studies and debates, which make the learning more engaging and create a constructive competitive environment in the class.

Answer: There are several clubs and conduits which are available at the institute which help us gain extracurricular activity credits. Some of the clubs and conduits are cultural conduit, alumni conduits, sustainability club, entrepreneurship clubs, debate club and many others.

Careers360: Does your college assist with internships? Have you completed one through college, and were you paid? Share your internship experience, including what you learned, challenges faced, the company, and role.

Answer: The summer internship period hasn't started yet, but I've secured an offer from Zudio, a brand under Tata Trent. I had a similar experience through an on-job training opportunity that is provided for a period of one month and dealt mainly with store sales and operations, building customer relationships and analysing consumer behaviour. Careers360: How comfortable are your hostels and how about the cleanliness factor over there?

Answer: The hostel is quite comfortable with ACs fitted in every room and can be used only during summer. Careers360: What are the popular hangouts at the institute? What, according to you, are the most-visited places nearby?
