Careers360: Tell us something about yourself such as from which place are you from?
Answer: I am Anjali Shukla, born in Gorakhpur, UP, and raised in Delhi.
Careers360: Presently which course are you pursuing and in which year are you?
Answer: Currently, I am a second-year student at Fortune Institute of International Business, Delhi, pursuing my PGDM in Marketing.
Careers360: Did you face any difficulty in the initial months when you joined the institute?
Answer: Initially, I faced challenges when I had newly joined the institute, adapting to the new environment and routines, being between new people from diverse places, and assignment-related work. But with time and help from faculty mentors, it became easier.
Careers360: What activities are offered in the institute? Are there any clubs etc for the various extracurricular activities? Which ones have you taken up and are a part of?
Answer: At FIIB, we have various extracurricular activities. There are separate clubs for each specific domain and other interest-based clubs. Every week, club activities are organised, which encompass fun, learning, and recognition. I have been participating in every club activity and have won certificates too. Presently, I hold the position of Senior Event Coordinator.
Careers360: Please tell us about your routine at FIIB, Delhi – what do you do from the time you wake up till you go to sleep?
Answer: A typical day involves morning to evening lectures, enjoying club activities, chit-chatting while having lunch in the canteen or having tea at the corner, and then going back home and doing assignments. This creates a balanced routine.
Careers360: Tell us about the faculty-student ratio here and about the teacher-student relationship in your understanding.
Answer: The faculty-student ratio at FIIB is favourable, fostering a strong teacher-student relationship. Specific mentors are assigned, and mentor-mentee parties are organised to build a relationship that goes beyond just being a student and teacher.
Careers360: What facilities do you have on the campus? What do you like here the most that you feel is unique and differentiating?
Answer: Campus facilities include morning tea and fruit, a basement area to sit and play, a reading room, and more. Personally, I love our basement area a lot; it's a place for everything from studying and playing to laughing with friends, giving a friend a birthday surprise, and much more.
Careers360: How comfortable are your hostels and how about the cleanliness factor over there?
Answer: I don't live in a PG or hostel; I live with my family. However, my friends who live in PGs are usually not happy with the food; the rest is fine.
Careers360: How do you balance your studies, projects, exams and other activities?
Answer: Balancing studies, assignments, exams, and extracurricular activities involves effective time management and prioritisation. Sometimes, it becomes hectic, and we used to stay up late at night to complete assignments and study for exams.
Careers360: Tell us about the clubs and societies at the campus and how significant they are from your point of view or students' point of view.
Answer: Campus clubs offer leadership opportunities, organise activities, and provide diverse opportunities for students, contributing to their overall experience and skill development.
Careers360: Is there any in-house magazine or journal for the latest events or happenings at the institute?
Answer: Our institute issues a Newsletter covering the latest events and happenings on campus.
Careers360: What are the popular hangouts at the institute? What, according to you, are the most-visited places nearby?
Answer: Popular hangouts inside the campus include the canteen, the front gate benches, and the basement area, of course. Nearby places are Satya Niketan and malls, which are very near to our college.
Careers360: How do you spend your leisure time at the campus?
Answer: We spend it playing games in the basement or hanging out with friends, sitting together, and socialising.
Careers360: Do you have any Facebook page of your campus where the students express their views, jokes, or ideas, or maybe even a blog where they write about their experience of life on campus?
Answer: Our institute has an Instagram handle, a YouTube channel, and a LinkedIn page. All the updates regarding every happening are shared through these social media handles.
Careers360: What type of companies come for campus recruitment and what percentage of students get placed every year? How is the recruitment process here?
Answer: Companies for campus recruitment vary every year, as it depends on the vacancy, but the CMC department never fails to put in its full efforts to bring the best companies for FIIB Delhi placements. Every year, 100% of students get placement from campus. The recruitment process typically includes aptitude tests, several interview rounds, and GDs.

In order to make an informed decision about which college to choose for your final joining, you must analyse various parameters of a B-School to decide the one which matches with your final goals. At the end of your MBA, your goal could be entrepreneurship, higher education, job opportunities, greater exposure, increased market value or something very different. Basis the end result, please choose the college wisely.
For higher education, you should choose a college with good faculty and academic exposure, for career opportunities - choose a college with good placement records, for exposure and networking - choose a one with greater alumni base and so on.

FIIB Delhi and IIMs Pune is at par. You can easily get these colleges without any much hindrance. If you want to stay in Delhi only then you can opt FIIB as there i snot much difference between these colleges.
Scopes are also same in fact a little more in FIIB.
But if you want any other college in Delhi with this percentile , then you can try :

Jagan Institute of Management
These 3 colleges are difficult to get but not impossible. It's 70-30 chance.

Both JIMS Kalkaji and FIIB Delhi are leading and premier B schools of India. Both the colleges have excellent faculties and also enriched with world class infrastructure. But in Fortune Institute of International Business Delhi, the placement record in better compared to JIMS Kalkaji. Many of the top recruiters visit the campus for the recruitment such as Aditya Birla group, Genpact, Citi bank, Deloitte, Fecathlon , ITC and many more.
The highest salary package offered was 19 lakhs while average salary package offered is around 6.5 lakhs per annum.
