Careers360. What was your initial thought process when you joined SPJIMR Mumbai?
Amandeep Kaur. Initially I was more oriented with the courses but then quickly realised that the true exposure and value lies in the unique pedagogy that SPJIMR offers, so I quickly shifted my focus to the competitions, unique programs like Abhyudaya, GFT, Intex as well as value activities that provide immersive experience like a “Day in the life of a Salesman” which helped me realise what I truly wanted to do.

Amandeep Kaur. Yes, I cherish the memories from my days at SPJIMR right from the 11:59:59 submissions to the night canteen, the group presentations and project work to the celebrations that we did post academic hours. The PG lab which was a unique and fun start to the journey, weekends with the sitaras, travelling with the batch for GFT and creating memories at Intex. SPRINT, SPL, Ojas, GASP, Burning the midnight oil for the corporate competitions and struggling with some of the courses, at the end of the day it was all worth it.

Careers360. Briefly take us through your life at the campus, the activities you used to do and your routine life.
Amandeep Kaur. Life at campus was rather fast and busy. The day usually started with a quick run for breakfast followed by classes after which the real fun began. The days were usually spent collaborating with the many acad groups to get through with the submission deadlines. We still managed to sneak in some fun time with friends and celebrate the small and big wins. There were times when the campus would be abuzz with activity be it for SPRINT, GASP, SPL, Ojas or even some other college event.
Careers360. Apart from academics, what were the other activities you were involved in and how did it enrich your life?
Amandeep Kaur. A lot as highlighted in the questions I have answered earlier. I was also part of the basketball team and got a chance to participate in various tournaments at different colleges apart from S P Jain Institute of Management and Research as well.
