Careers360. Describe a typical day at your institute – what do you do from the time you wake up till you go to sleep?

Megha Shrivastav. In my first year, I had four interactive sessions a day starting from 9:45 AM to 4:45 PM. I used to get 30 minutes to break after every lecture and a long break. The schedule was tight and time management played a vital role. I was involved in clubs, so I had to juggle my grades with club activities.

At night, we normally held meetings to finish the assignments/ presentations that were given to us. To be honest, it's been a long and winding schedule, but at the end of the day, I've learned and evolved.

Currently, I am pursuing my Summer Internship. I have a 10 AM to 8 PM marketing internship and again club activities.

Megha Shrivastav. The faculty-student ratio is 1:20 at IBS. Teachers at IBS Mumbai are supportive and generous. The faculty members are all highly qualified and have great knowledge of their teaching domain. They make the learning so easy that maximum students remember all the concepts by heart without actually needing to learn as they provide practical implementation of the concepts. They teach both the theoretical and practical aspects of the corporate world. We are encouraged to come up with new initiatives. They pay close attention to each student individually. We have a great teacher-student relationship that is both productive and friendly.

Amity has a culture of exposing students to different lifestyles and teaching them skills that are required in the corporate world. Such as public speaking and presentation abilities.
