As per the IRMASAT 2018 eligibility criteria, candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50 percent aggregate marks (45 percent for SC/ ST/ DPA candidates) or equivalent CGPA. It's recommended that aspirants must check the IRMASAT eligibility criteria 2018 before applying for the exam - IRMA Social Awareness Test (IRMASAT). The application process for IRMASAT 2018 deadline was January 20, 2018 and the exam was conducted on February 4, 2018 (Sunday) in 40 centres across the country.


Highlights of IRMASAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria


The eligibility criteria for IRMASAT 2018 is prescribed by Institute of Rural Management Anand as follows:

  • Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree (10 + 2 + 3) in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 50 percent aggregate marks.

  • Aspirants belonging to SC/ ST or DAP category should have a minimum of 45 percent aggregate marks at the graduation level.

  • NRI, NRI sponsored applicants, Foreign Nationals, Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), Children of Indian workers in Gulf Countries and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) must have a valid score of GMAT/ GRE Scores (taken on or after January 2012)/CAT 2017 or XAT 2018 scores for PRM 2018 – 20 batch.

  • Applicants must have a valid score of at least one of the entrance exams among CAT 2017 and  XAT 2018.

  • Final year graduation students are also eligible to apply for IRMASAT 2018. However, they must complete their degree with requisite aggregate CGPA at the time of admission.

As per the Government of India guidelines, below mentioned are the reservation policies to get enrolled in PGDRM programme:

As per the IRMASAT 2018 exam pattern, it was a computer-based test of 80 minutes duration carrying 40 multiple choice objective type questions on the single section of ‘Issues of Social Concern’. IRMASAT 2018 was held in around 28 states all over India. IRMASAT 2018 admit card was released on February 1, 2018. Only registered candidates who have paid the application fee successfully were able to download the admit card.


Once the result of IRMASAT 2018 is declared, candidates will be shortlisted by IRMASAT on the basis of cutoff and conduct selection procedure of IRMASAT 2018. The selection rounds comprise of Group Activities and Personal Interview.
