Pranjali Sharma: It is my pleasure to introduce myself. My name is Pranjali Sharma. I hail from Bareilly. I’m pursuing PGDM at I Business Institute Greater Noida.
Careers360. Currently which course you are pursuing and the year of the course you are in?
Pranjali Sharma: I am currently pursuing PGDM from I Business Institute, Greater Noida, Batch 2022-24.
Careers360. Did you face any difficulty in the initial months when you joined the institute?
Pranjali Sharma: No, in-fact I enjoyed it a lot.

Careers360. What activities are conducted in the institute? Are there any clubs etc for the various specialization-based activities and extra-curricular activities? Which ones have you taken up and are a part of?
Pranjali Sharma: There are many activities that the institute keeps on conducting on a continuous basis to build the skills and confidence in an individual like volleyball tournaments, corporate sessions, workshops on trending topics, etc. There are various clubs like marketing, Finance, HR, IT, IB, Business Analytics, CSR, Sports, cultural, etc. And, I am a part of the marketing club, operations club, and cultural club.
Careers360. Describe a typical day at your institute. What do you do from the time you wake up till you go to sleep?
Pranjali Sharma: No day is a typical day at IBI because every single day we get to learn something new, that too in the form of fun-filled activities and exciting ways.
Careers360. Tell us about the faculty-student ratio here and about the teacher-student relationship as per your understanding.
Pranjali Sharma: The faculty-student ratio here is 1:12. Faculty are really very supportive and understanding. They help us all even in odd working hours.

Careers360. What facilities do you have on campus? What do you like most which you feel are unique and the key differentiator?
Pranjali Sharma: All the facilities the students need, whether they are infrastructural, medical, hostel, transportation, etc., are provided by the institute. The key differentiator is the expertise of the faculty and the supportive administration.
Careers360. How comfortable are your hostels and how about the cleanliness factor over there?
Pranjali Sharma: There is nothing wrong with hostels. They are clean and hygienic.
Careers360. What about the medical facilities? Can you avail requisite medical attention if needed in an emergency?
Pranjali Sharma: The medical facilities are excellent. I once availed services and received it on time.
Careers360. How do you balance your studies, projects, exams and other activities?
Pranjali Sharma: It's a bit tricky. Instead of wasting time, I try to maximize every minute I have.

Careers360. Tell us about the clubs and societies at the campus and how significant are they from your point of view or students' point of view?
Pranjali Sharma: Clubs are specialization based that help us in polishing our specialization relevant skills through participation and conduction of various club activities. Apart from the specialization clubs, there are other clubs as well like Sports, CSR, Cultural, etc. for the overall development of students.
Careers360. Is there any in-house magazine or journal for the latest events or happenings at the institute?
Pranjali Sharma: There is an in-house magazine for latest events.
Careers360. What are the popular hangouts at the institute? What, according to you, are the most-visited places nearby?
Pranjali Sharma: Multiple trips (national & international), industrial visits to the company are provided which aid in effective & efficient.

Careers360. How do you spend your leisure time at the campus?
Pranjali Sharma: By utilizing free time for reading in library after classes and sometimes indulge in sports activities like volleyball, pool, chess, and table tennis.
Careers360. Do you have any Facebook page of your campus where the students express their views, jokes or ideas, or maybe even a blog where they write about their experience of life at campus?
Pranjali Sharma: Yes, we have a page on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter, where the campus itself shares the events or activities which took place in the institution and obviously students as well.

Careers360. What type of companies come for campus recruitment and what percentage of students get placed every year? How is the recruitment process here?
Pranjali Sharma: Around 200+ Companies come to the campus for placement & all my seniors got placed. So, yes I can say our institute is offering 100% placement. The institution takes responsibility for each and every student and makes sure each and every student gets a desired placement in his or her core profile and package not below 4.5LPA as mentioned in the POA letter.
The recruitment process is very well designed and prior to it, multiple multi-level mock sessions are conducted keeping in mind the requirements of the brands visiting the campus. Providing a pre-visualization of the real interview situation makes students capable of cracking the maximum number of interviews.
