XIMB Summer Internship Placement Report 2017-19: Xavier Institute of Management, Xavier University, Bhubaneswar has completed its Summer Internship Placements for the 2017-19 batch with 45 percent of the students receiving offers in the Marketing domain followed by Consulting, Finance and IT-Systems. A total of 350 students participated in the process. The institute saw the presence of 63 new recruiters this year offering lucrative roles in different domains. Some of the major recruiters were Deloitte, PwC, ICICI, TCS, Tata Steel, Titan, Reliance, Royal Enfield, Wipro, etc.

Consulting - It was among the preferred profiles for most students, 16 percent of the students being recruited in the field for Management and Strategy Consulting. Some of the major recruiters in this domain were Deloitte, Cognizant, PwC, United Health Group, EY, etc.
Marketing - 45 percent of the students were recruited in the marketing profile by various companies including L’Oreal, Godrej, Emami, Nestle, Bajaj Auto, Philips Lighting, Tata Steel, Wildcraft, Boston Scientific, Britannia Industries, Royal Enfield, BPCL, Titan, Reliance Industries, Hero MotoCorp etc.
Finance - Major financial corporates like HSBC, HSBC IB, ICRA, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, L&T Fin, Yes Bank, CRISIL, Reserve Bank of India, SBI Life and many more recruited 15 percent of the students for roles in Risk Advisory, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Wealth Management and Credit Analysis.
IT-Systems - Major recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Tiger Analytics, Capgemini, Microland, Brillio etc., offered diversified roles in the IT sector to the students and recruited 10 percent of the students.
General Management, Strategy and Operations - Renowned conglomerates like Larsen & Toubro and companies like Tata Steel, Future Supply Chain and Future Generali offered different profiles to the students.
