Amrita Common Aptitude Test (ACAT)

Amrita Common Aptitude Test (ACAT) Phase 2 will be held in online proctored mode on different dates. Those candidates who will register for ACAT phase 2 on or before April 25 will have to appear for the entrance test on April 28 and those who apply on or before May 2 will have to appear for test on May 5.

Amrita Common Aptitude Test of ACAT 2024 is the management entrance test conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham to offer admission into the MBA program at five campuses- Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, and Kochi. ACAT entrance exam will be conducted across India via Computer Based Test Mode (CBT). ACAT will be held in February 2024.

Interested and eligible candidates will have to fill out the ACAT 2024 application form by visiting the official website- amrita.edu. Apart from the Amrita Common Aptitude Test (ACAT), the university will also accept the scorecard of CAT / XAT / MAT / CMAT / GMAT / GRE to offer admission into the MBA program.

As per the basic ACAT 2024 eligibility criteria, candidates should have completed their graduation in any discipline in the pattern of 10+2+3 from a recognized university or institution.

• Candidates should have secured at least 50% marks in total aggregate in the 10th, 12th, and Undergraduate (UG) levels. Students in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for ACAT 2024.
• Any one of the valid test scores of Rank in Amrita Common Aptitude Test (ACAT)/ CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ KMAT/ GMAT/ GRE. Candidates appearing for these MBA entrance tests can apply with the test registration number.
• Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore campus accepts NMAT scores.
• Department of Management, Amritapuri (Kollam), and Kochi campuses accept valid KMAT scores.
• Those who will apply for MBA-MS at Bengaluru need to have a minimum IBT-TOEFL score of 79 or an IELTS score of 6.5 with an individual score of 6 or a PTE score of 55 with an individual category score of 50 (to be submitted on or before August 20, 2024)
• Those appearing for the final year of the Bachelor’s degree examination can also apply, subject to the completion of their examinations and viva voce, if any, before June 30, 2024.
• For the final year student, it is mandatory for candidates who is provisionally considered eligible by ASB, Coimbatore, and admitted on the MBA course, to submit the mark sheet and degree certification of the final year bachelor’s degree examination by October 2024.
• Candidates with work experience will have an added advantage for MBA admissions.

Mode of Application : Online

The ACAT 2024 application process to take place anytime soon. Eligible candidates can fill out the ACAT application form by visiting the official website. Candidates can fill and submit the ACAT registration form probably by mid-February 2024. At the time of the ACAT form candidates will be required to provide all their past academic details and with that, they have to upload all the required documents.

Application Fees

As per the Amrita Common Aptitude Test (ACAT) pattern, the exam will be held in computer-based mode. The duration of the ACAT entrance test will be 2.5 hours (150 minutes) which consists of a total of 100 multiple choice questions (MCQs) divided into four sections- Verbal Reasoning and language Comprehension, Data Interpretation and analysis, General Knowledge of Indian and global Scenarios, and Quantitative Aptitude.

Each section will comprise 25 questions and each question carries 3 marks. ACAT entrance test will be held across India via Computer Based Test Mode (CBT) mode.

ACAT Marking Scheme 2024

• For every correct answer, 3 marks will be awarded.
• 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response.

Amrita Common Aptitude Test (ACAT) admit card will be issued in online mode on the official website. ACAT admit card will be issued 2 weeks before the commencement of the entrance test. Those candidates who will fill out and submit the ACAT application form successfully, only they will get the admit card for the same.

On the day of the ACAT entrance exam, it is mandatory for the candidates to carry the ACAT admit card along with one valid photo ID proof.
