Q. Is the Industry work different from what you learnt at MET Institute?

A: MET Institute helped me to understand the working culture of the industry by conducting lectures from Alumni who used to work in the specialised course field and used to give us a glimpse of current market scenarios, the needs and wants of the industry and used to give us tips and ideas to prepare ourselves to work in the industry

Q. How do you think your time at MET Institute has added value to your life, both professional and personal?

A: MET Institute helped us to understand our talents in which area/ field we are good at and how to shape our career out of it. It helped us to rate ourselves on how good or bad our talents are and how much we need to work on them. Personally, it helped me to work on work-life balance and be properly scheduled in my life. i

Q. What was your initial thought process when you joined MET Institute?

A: Initially the thought process related to MET was very vague. I was not at all aware of different streams and was very sure that MET would help me to choose my career wisely. Q. You must have spent a memorable time at MET. Do you miss being a part of it? Share a few good memories.

A: I had great memories at MET. I missed being part of the Annual Day functions and have some good memories.

Q. Briefly take us through your life at the campus, the activities you used to do and your routine life.

A: The life at the campus was basically like an entire day, 12 hours a day starting from morning 7 am to 7 pm in the evening. Have to attend the lectures keeping a thought into consideration that would be learning something new. In between lectures, we used to spend leisure time in the canteen and music room to just keep our mind calm. Also, in the evening time, we used to spend some time on the lawn tennis court and practice and burn calories while playing lawn tennis and sometimes cricket as well on the campus. So basically, we had made a small different family and planet on this MET campus and this should be my routine life.

Q. Apart from academics, what were the other activities you were involved in and how did it enrich your life?

A: Apart from Academics, I was actively participating in a few other activities like playing Lawn Tennis and Cricket. These sports really helped me to stay fit and keep an eye on my calories and also helped me build my stamina as well.

Q. How did you keep updated with the industrial requirements and what was the role of MET in it?

A: Every Weekend, there used to be a guest lecturer who used to be an Alumni of our college and used to be working in the Industry. He/She used to give us the current scenario of the industry and what are they expecting and how we should be trained. So, he/she used to help us with the industrial requirement and we used to stay updated and obviously, the credit goes to our MET Institute

Q. You are a proud alumnus of MET. What is the best part of MET Institute from a student's perspective?

A: Yes indeed, very proud to be an alumnus of this MET Institute, the best part of this institute is that we used to learn something new every day. All the staff and professors were always available 24X7 to resolve our queries and guide us to the proper career path. Keep extra lectures on the topics which we felt were hard to understand, having one-on-one interaction to know our doubts and queries.

Q. What is your suggestion/ guidance for the PGP EMBA aspirants?

A: Just keep working smart, hardworking will only fetch you a job but working smart will fetch you time and money. Always, plan your career path and discuss with your professors, they will guide you to excel in your life.
