    About: MET Institute of Management, Mumbai is a private institution established in 1994. MET Mumbai courses include MMS and PhD Management. To be eligible for MET Institute of Management admission to the MMS programme, candidates should graduate with a minimum of 50% of marks in the aggregate (45% for reserved category). Admissions at MET Institute of Management is entrance-based. MET Mumbai has a wi-fi campus with well-maintained AC classrooms. MET Mumbai facilities include E-enabled libraries, conference rooms, a hi-tech convention centre, computer laboratories, an air-conditioned recreation area, a canteen, a playground with ultra-modern facilities, guest rooms, a recording studio, sports facility and many other facilities. Top recruiters during MET Institute of Management placements are Deloitte, Aditya Birla Group, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, HCL and others.

    Q. Tell us about your domain and your work profile. At the professional level, did you pursue the same field you were interested or you switched?

    A: My domain is Advertising and Media Planning.

    Q. Can you briefly tell us about your career path so far?

    A: I started as a media planning executive and handled just 1-2 brands. Gradually in the last 8 years, I have transitioned from just making media plans to building strategies for not just brands but categories.

    Q. Is the industry work different from what you learnt at MET Institute?

    A: Yes, industry work is different from what I learnt at MET Mumbai.

    Q. How do you think your time in MET has added value to your life, both professional and personal?

    A: There were a few pointers that we were taught like collaboration and teamwork which has helped me.

    Q. What was your initial thought process when you joined MET Institute?

    A: When I joined MET Institute my initial thought process was great learning and more collaboration.

    Q. You must have spent a memorable time at MET. Do you miss being a part of it? Share a few good memories.

    A: Yes. I have made very good friends at MET Institute.

    Q. Briefly take us through your life at the campus, the activities you used to do and your routine life.

    A: MET had a good set of professors who encouraged us to do things that were out of our comfort zone making us industry-ready. Apart from the regular curriculum, we were also encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities and be a part of MET Utsav.

    Q. Apart from academics, what were the other activities you were involved in and how did it enrich your life?

    A: Yes, I was a part of the MET Utsav and that has helped me face my stage fear.

    Q. How did you keep updated with the industrial requirements and what was the role of MET Institute in it?

    A: I keep myself updated with the industrial requirements by reading a lot of books and newspapers.

    Q. You are a proud alumnus of MET. What is the best part of MET Institute from a student's perspective?

    A: The best part of MET Institute are the professors and the non-teaching staff.

    Q. What is your suggestion/ guidance for the MMS/ PGDM/ PGP EMBA aspirants?

    A: My suggestion/ guidance for the MMS/ PGDM/ PGP EMBA aspirants is MMS.

    If you are looking for PGDM then

    WELINGKAR, SIES, N.L Dalmia, Chetna, MET , IES are the one which you can look for

    If you are looking through cap rounds then

    PGDM program is on demand because of the Practical oriented Course Curriculum. All Institutions are doing good in their respective fields, but RIIM Pune will be ahead in comparison with any other Institutions in terms of their demanding Course Structure and affordable fee structure.
