IIM Lucknow Admission Criteria 2018IIM Lucknow Admission Criteria 2018-20: IIM Lucknow has declared the final admission criteria for its flagship Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), Post Graduate Programme in Agribusiness Management (PGP-ABM) and Post Graduate Programme in Sustainability Management (PGP-SM) programmes for the 2018-20 batch. The CAT cutoffs for General Category candidates for the PGP, PGP-ABM and PGP-SM are 90 percentile, 85 percentile and and 85 percentile respectively. The cutoff and selection procedure for IIM Lucknow has remained the same as last year, except for the Persons With Disability (PWD) category candidates for whom the CAT 2017 cutoff has reduced by five percentile in all three programmes. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their CAT performance, past academic records and diversity factors. The following table brings to you the sectional and overall CAT 2017 cutoff across programmes and categories.

As compared to the IIM Lucknow cutoff of last year, the sectional and overall cutoffs for PWD candidates have reduced by five percentile each while the sectional cutoffs for General and NC-OBC category candidates is higher in the PGP programme compared to that of PGP-ABM and PGP-SM. On the other hand, for SC, ST and PWD category candidates, the sectional cutoff for all three sections is the same, albeit the overall cutoff for PGP is higher than that of the other two programmes.

For the shortlist criteria, CAT 2017 scores will be given maximum weightage followed by past academic records (Class XII and Graduation marks). Academic diversity factor weightage is highest for PGP-ABM.

 

Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. Following are the factors and weightages that will be considered for final selection procedure -

For PGP-ABM programme, the weightage for CAT is higher than that assigned to PGP and PGP-SM. On the other hand, while work experience is assigned five points for PGP and PGP-SM, the factor is not considered for PGP-ABM.

 

According to IIM Lucknow, the minimum requirement for clearing the Personal Interview is 12 out of 40 marks. Names of candidates who do not pass in the PI round will not be included in the final merit list.
