Question. Tell us something about yourself such as from which place are you from?
Answer. I am Dr. Ruchi Jangra (Student, IIHMR Delhi) and I live in Gurgaon, Haryana.
Question. Presently which course are you pursuing at IIHMR Delhi and in which year are you?
Answer. I am pursuing the Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) in Health management programme from International Institute of Health Management Research, Delhi.
Question. Did you face any difficulty in the initial months when you joined the institute?
Answer. On my first day at the institute I was pretty nervous, but the faculty made the environment very friendly and interactive. So, it was comforting.
Question. What activities are offered in the institute? Are there any clubs etc for the various extracurricular activities? Which ones have you taken up and are a part of?
Answer. There are various activities organized by the institute. I have taken part in various extracurricular activities like poster making competitions, webinars and I have also organized a national-level quiz competition.

Question. Describe a typical day at your institute. What do you do from the time you wake up till you go to sleep?
Answer. My typical day at the institute goes like this - I wake up and exercise, then I go to college to attend lectures, have interactive sessions, and give presentations. During breaks, we enjoy beverages and food in the college canteen. After college, we complete assignments and presentations which are mostly group-based. I play badminton after college hours inside the IIHMR campus. Sometimes I go to the nearby malls and markets to explore.
Question. Tell us about the faculty-student ratio here and about the teacher-student relationship in your understanding.
Answer. IIHMR Delhi has a very good student-faculty ratio. It is easier to talk to faculty members. The student-teacher relationship is really good. Every faculty is always ready to help and brief about things very nicely. It is good to talk to the teachers.
Question. What all facilities do you have on campus? What do you like here the most which you feel is unique and differentiating?
Answer. The International Institute of Health Management Research provides a lot of facilities and what I like the most is that our college offers several organization's visits to gain knowledge about their culture. IIHMR also organizes various Industry experts' talks.
Question. How comfortable are your hostels and how about the cleanliness factor over there?
Answer. I don't live in the IIHMR hostel so I can not comment much on this aspect but the surroundings of the hostels are pretty neat and clean.

Question. What about the medical facilities? Can you avail requisite medical attention if needed in an emergency?
Answer. There is a medical room in the institute with all the facilities and a multispeciality hospital which is 2 min drive away.
Question. How do you balance your studies, projects, exams and other activities?
Answer. The way I balance my studies, projects, exams and other activities at the college is I prefer to focus on work during weekdays and have fun during weekends.
Question. Tell us about the clubs and societies at the campus and how significant are they from your point of view or students point of view?
Answer. There are various societies in the college. Alumni, Placement, Cultural, Synapse etc. which play an important role in a students life.

Answer. Yes, there is an in-house magazine or journal which provides the latest updates on events and happenings at the institute.
Question. What are the popular hangouts at the institute? What, according to you, are the most-visited places nearby?
Answer. The most-visited places nearby the institute is a momos point right outside the college and a mall which is 10 minutes drive away.
Question. How do you spend your leisure time at the campus?
Answer. During my leisure time I play badminton and have fun in the canteen of the college.
