IGNOU MBA Admissions 2024 will be based on the candidate’s eligibility fulfilment without any entrance test. Earlier, IGNOU online MBA Admission were conducted on the basis of a university-level entrance test, OPENMAT MBA, and the candidates were selected for MBA from IGNOU based on their cutoff of OPENMAT. Now, the candidates can apply for IGNOU MBA and MBA (Banking and Finance) programmes if they meet the required criteria.

Step 1: Visit the official website of IGNOU

In order to fill the application form for IGNOU MBA 2024, candidates are advised to visit the official website of IGNOU. Then, click on “Online Admission System” and select the desired programme from the list of programmes offered by IGNOU. After that, you will be redirected to a new page.

Step 2 - Fill in the basic information in order to generate the application number

If you are registering for the first time, you should click on the “Register Yourself” button to create a user account. You will need to fill in some basic information such as your name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, etc. You will receive a registration ID and password after completing this step. You should use them to log in to your account and proceed to the next step.

IGNOU MBA Fee Structure 2024-26

IGNOU offers a two-year MBA programme that consists of 28 courses and has five specializations to choose from. The admission to the programme is based on the eligibility criteria and the availability of seats. There is no entrance test for admission to MBA programme for 2024. The fee structure for the MBA programme is as follows:

  • The total fee for the MBA programme is Rs. 62,000/-.
  • The fee per semester is Rs. 15,500/-.
  • The fee per course is Rs. 1500/-.

IGNOU MBA Course Fee Refund Policy

The fee that you pay for the MBA programme is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances. You cannot use it for any other programme offered by this University. However, if the University rejects your admission, you will get back your fee after deducting the processing fee, if any. The refund will be made through a cheque in your name only.

IGNOU MBA entrance exam 2024

For admission to IGNOU MBA course 2024-26, the candidates do not need to prepare for any entrance exam, as there will be direct admission for the eligible candidates.
