Careers360: Tell us something about yourself such as from which place are you from?
Khushi: My name is Khushi. I’m basically from Ahmedabad. I have completed my graduation from Silver Oak University.Moving forward, my future goal is to become a high-valued, independent woman owning a Jewelry brand.
Careers360: Presently which course are you pursuing and in which year are you?
Khushi: I am a final-year student pursuing PGDM with a specialization in FinTech.
Careers360: Did you face any difficulty in the initial months when you joined the institute?
Khushi: Not really, but yes, my parents stay in Bangalore, so staying apart from them and living in the hostel was a big challenge. I had always been a "Yes, Mum" kind of child, so I struggled initially to make decisions independently.
Careers360: What activities are offered in the institute? Are there any clubs etc. for the various extracurricular activities? Which ones have you taken up and are a part of?
Khushi: Silver Oak University offers a wide range of extracurricular activities through clubs such as Peepal Club (iOS & Mac technologies), White Oak Club (software development), SAE BAJA (automobile engineering), cultural events like Junoon, and sports through Eklavya Sports Academy. I am actively involved in Palm Tree Club Involved in sports and recreational activities.
Careers360: Describe a typical day at your institute – what do you do from the time you wake up till you go to sleep?
Khushi: In the first year, it was relatively easy. I usually woke up around 8 or 9 AM, spent an hour in the library before the first class at 10 AM. After classes, I would hang out on campus and return to the hostel by 5 PM.

The campus has modern classrooms, well-equipped labs, libraries, seminar halls, innovation and incubation centers, hostels, cafeterias, and the Eklavya Sports Academy. What I like the most is the Apple Lab under the Peepal Club, which supports creativity in iOS development.
Careers360: How comfortable are your hostels and how about the cleanliness factor over there?
Khushi: The hostels are comfortable, secure, and well-maintained. Rooms are spacious with basic amenities. Cleanliness is a priority with regular housekeeping.
Careers360: What about the medical facilities? Can you avail requisite medical attention if needed in an emergency?
Khushi: Silver Oak University offers:

Khushi: I follow a daily schedule, prioritize tasks, and avoid last-minute work. The university's structured academic calendar and supportive faculty help manage everything smoothly.
Careers360: Tell us about the clubs and societies at the campus and how significant are they from your point of view or a student’s point of view?
Khushi: There are many clubs like Peepal Club, White Oak Club, SAE BAJA, Sanjeevani Club, NCC, NSS, and the Eklavya Sports Academy. These clubs help develop practical skills, confidence, and teamwork. They play a vital role in overall personality development.
Careers360: Is there any in-house magazine or journal for the latest events or happenings at the institute?
Khushi: Yes, the university publishes a monthly E-Newsletter covering events and achievements. Clubs like IEEE SOU SB also release newsletters like "NewsNest" highlighting student and club activities.
