Asia-Pacific Institute of Management, New Delhi is a private institution that was established in the year 1996. The institution has been approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education). APIM New Delhi courses include postgraduate programmes. To be eligible for the programmes at the institution students must ensure that they meet the required eligibility criteria as per the chosen specialisations.

Careers360: Tell us something about yourself, such as where you are from.
Deboshi Mukhopadhyay:
I’m Deboshi Mukhopadhyay from Kolkata, West Bengal. I completed my schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Fort William, Kolkata, and pursued my graduation in BSc Geography (Honours) from Loreto College, Kolkata. I was awarded the Gold Medal from my college for Proficiency in Geography Honours.

Careers360: Which course are you currently pursuing, and in which year are you?
Deboshi Mukhopadhyay:
I am currently pursuing my PGDM (General) at the Asia Pacific Institute of Management, and I’m in my second trimester.

Careers360: Did you face any difficulties in the initial months when you joined the institute?
Deboshi Mukhopadhyay:
No difficulties at all! From day one, I have been encouraged to believe in my potential to make a mark. The confidence they place in me motivates me to work hard and excel. The faculty and seniors created a friendly and positive environment, helping me adjust smoothly to the new setting. It feels like a second home away from home.

Careers360: What activities are offered at the institute? Are there any clubs for extracurricular activities? Which ones have you joined?
Deboshi Mukhopadhyay:
We have regular events and celebrations like Freshers’ Day and Annual Sports Day. There are orientation programs, nostalgia meetups, alumni and faculty engagement sessions, and seminars.

Careers360: Tell us about the faculty-student ratio and the teacher-student relationship as you understand it.
Deboshi Mukhopadhyay:
The student-faculty ratio is 1:15. Interactions are relaxed and informal after class, and faculty members are always accessible for clarifications and advice.

Careers360: What facilities are available on campus? What do you like most that you feel is unique?
Deboshi Mukhopadhyay:
The institute is equipped with the latest ICT and digital learning infrastructure. Classrooms have advanced learning technologies and audio-visual aids. The library, spread over three fully air-conditioned floors, houses a vast collection of more than 50,000 volumes, including books, publications, reference materials, and journals from various management fields. The library also offers extensive, regularly updated e-resources.

There are over 40 computer systems in the library, with fully computerized operations using the latest library software. Facilities include discussion rooms, idea rooms, research and publication rooms, and reading rooms accommodating up to 225 students.

Separate hostels for boys and girls are located half a kilometer from the institute. These fully furnished double-sharing rooms come with modern amenities, offering a comfortable and well-managed living environment. The institute also has an auditorium with a seating capacity of over 200 people and a fully air-conditioned cafeteria serving delicious breakfast and lunch.

Careers360: How comfortable are the hostels, and how is the cleanliness?
Deboshi Mukhopadhyay:
The hostel facilities are well-maintained, with a strong emphasis on cleanliness and hygiene. The staff and wardens are very helpful and are sometimes available on call.

Careers360: Tell us about the clubs and societies on campus and their significance for students.
Deboshi Mukhopadhyay:
Students can join clubs focused on Marketing, Finance, HR, Healthcare, Sports, Cultural, Literary, Data Analytics, and the Environment, among others. These clubs offer informal learning experiences in our fields of interest, providing a platform for vibrant and joyful interactions. I always look forward to participating in these activities.

Careers360: How do you spend your leisure time on campus?
Deboshi Mukhopadhyay:
The day is usually packed with activities, leaving little leisure time.

Careers360: Is there a Facebook page or blog where students share their views, jokes, or ideas about campus life?
Deboshi Mukhopadhyay:
No, we do not have such a platform.

Deboshi Mukhopadhyay:

I will not recommended colleges like Asia Pacific institute of Management to you instead if you have no option start working this year in any NGO or do any certificate course along with preparing for next year MBA entrance exam to get into some good colleges, Because you do MBA only once in a life so do it with some reputed college.

Placements of Asia Pacific Institute of Management are good. As per the placement report of 2018 average package was around 6.25 LPA. This is a good package for a private management college.

The top recruiters were - ITC, L’Oreal India, EY, Moodys Analytics, CavinKare, Aditya Birla Capital, Zycus Infotech, Jaguar Landrover, Yes Bank, ICICI Bank, AmazonKent RO, Tata Motors Finance, OYO Rooms, Naukri.com.

These is no open source regarding the placement for mechatronica engineering from ASIA PACIFIC INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, PANIPAT. Still from some of the sources it seems like the average salary is around 3 lpa to 5 lpa depending on you hardwork and placement percentage of 71%.

Let me tell you that Asia Pacific institute of Panipat Haryana is one of the best colleges for mechatronics.

It has highest percentage of placement.

Many companies like NewGen MRF Tata steel HCL Tata motors Mahindra Ashok Leyland etc offer huge package to the students..

Core field companies are less in numbers. IT sector companies comes to the college on a regular basis. Companies like Wipro, HCL, ABS electroplaters, L&T and many other companies visit this college. For cs/it it is almost 80% placement. for another field 40-50%. companies like deffodil, accenture, ennoeye etc. average package is 3lack per annum.
