NIMS University was established in 2008 in the city of Jaipur in Rajasthan. It is a private state university. It has been recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). NIMS University Jaipur is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It has been in the 101 - 150 band as per the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranking. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level degree programmes in management, engineering, medical, law, etc.

Careers360. Tell us about your domain and your work profile. At the professional level, did you pursue the same field you were interested in or you switched?

Ramniwas Singh Parmar. I am Ramniwas Singh Parmar. I did MBA in International Business and Finance from NIMS University in 2015-17. And I am happy to have done so and don’t want to change it.

Careers360. Can you briefly tell us about your career path so far?

Ramniwas Singh Parmar. During college I got recruited by an MNC based in Bangalore called Club Concierges Services India Private Ltd (Service Oriented Company). Later on I set up my own enterprises with different divisions such as Luminaries, Fans & Pump , Solar Energy Solutions, Agro Food Products, Textile Fabrics and Handicraft, Stone Marble and Ceramic.

Careers360. Is the Industry work different from what you learnt at NIMS University?

Ramniwas Singh Parmar. Yes, it is the same as what we have been taught in college. My teachers invest their time and knowledge over that’s a true asset now.

Ramniwas Singh Parmar. Yes, NIMS University has added value to my life. It gave me the opportunity to become an educated man with attributes like discipline , Skill, Career Oriented, Responsible, and good Manager.

Careers360. What was your initial thought process when you joined College?

Ramniwas Singh Parmar. My initial thought process when I joined MBA in International Business and Finance was to know business skills, how to set up enterprises, How to develop business, Product designing, Marketing , Research & Development , Accounts and more.

Careers360. You must have had a memorable time at your university. Do you miss being a part of it? Share a few good memories.

Ramniwas Singh Parmar. Yes it was a golden era for me and my batch mates. I am happy to share memories of my college classrooms, canteen playground area, evening football practice with friends and more. Also we had a good time during our internal and semester exams. We got a lot of support from our careerbuilder team.

Careers360. Briefly take us through your life at the campus, the activities you used to do and your routine life.

Ramniwas Singh Parmar. I enjoyed each and every moment of my college life. The happiest moment was when we got together with each other at a college competition program or college fest.
