The first counselling round process for the MBA program at the IPU started on May 5, 2025. As for the result of the first round of counselling, the tentative dates suggest that the results will now be declared on May 28, 2025. Important Instructions for IPU MBA Choice Filling 2025

Take a look at the following instructions, which must be followed by all candidates at the time of choice

  • All candidates must note that IPU MBA choice filling is necessary for the allotment of the seat. Candidates will not be allotted for the online allotment of seat if the choices are not selected.

  • Candidates must ensure that they fill maximum number of choices, as it will increase the possibility of getting the desired seat.

  • Students, along with their parents, must visit the colleges/institutes affiliated to the university before the date of counselling to look at the location, academic and infrastructural facilities available, etc.

  • Lastly, one must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the programmes they seek admission to, and the correctness of the details filled concerning the region and other relevant details for allotment of the seat.

How to Edit and Correct IPU MBA Choice Filling Form 2025?

In a latest update, IPU has informed that the correction/edit window shall be opened from May 14 (3 PM) to May 20, 2025 (11 PM) for carrying out corrections.

To edit and correct the IPU MBA choice filling form for 2025, the candidate will need to utilise the correction/edit window which has been provided by the university. The correction window is typically opened in parallel with the IPU MBA choice filling process.

Below are the following steps through which the candidates can edit or make corrections to their IPU MBA choice filling forms 2025.

  • Step 1: Visit the official university website, ipu.ac.in and locate the correction/edit window link.

  • Step 2: You will then have to use your registration credentials to log in to your account.

How to Check Your IPU MBA Seat Allotment?

Once you have been allotted the IPU MBA seat and to check for the same, you will need to log in to the official IPU admission portals, which are www.ipu.ac.in and www.ipu.admissions.nic.in. Using your login credentials, you will have to log in to your account. Make sure that you download the allotment letter and review the details to see which seat has been allotted to you.

Keep in mind that the provisional seat allotment letter will be available for download starting May 26, 2025

IPU MBA Choice Filling 2025: What after Seat Allotment?

After the IPU MBA seat allotment is done, all confirmed candidates will have to pay a partial academic fee of Rs. 96,000 online by May 26th to secure their seat. This will be optional, depending on whether the candidate wishes to withdraw and apply for a fee refund if needed.

if i got college in round 3 in ipu bsc nursing counselling and i choose to float and upgrade my college then is it required physical reporting in alloted college? if in next round i have alloted college which i want to get admission in then ihave to pay that security fee of 60k?

Hello,

If you’re allotted a college in Round 3 of IPU BSc Nursing counselling and choose “Float/Upgrade”, then physical reporting is not required at that stage. You can wait for the next round’s upgraded allotment. Once you get the final preferred college, you’ll need to pay the 60,000-security fee and report physically to confirm your admission. If you don’t report after final allotment, your seat may be cancelled.

I've been allotted a college in round 2 of aiq and I've submitted the documents and opt for upgradation and I've also filled IPU counselling but wasn't allotted any seat in round 2 am i eligible for 3rd round

Yes, you are eligible for round 3. Since you have already been allotted a seat in AIQ round 2 and opted for upgradation, your seat will be considered in round 3 as well. If you get an upgraded seat, you will have to join the new allotment, otherwise your current seat will remain with you. As for IPU counselling, if you were not allotted any seat in round 2, you are still eligible to participate in round 3. You just need to ensure that you complete the choice filling and locking process for the next round within the given schedule.

Yes, you are eligible for round 3 counselling. Since you have already taken part in round 2 of AIQ (All India Quota) and opted for upgradation, your seat will be considered for upgradation in round 3. You can also stay eligible for IPU round 3 if you did not get a seat earlier. Just make sure you keep your documents and fee ready and follow both AIQ and IPU counselling schedules carefully.

ive got CML 80 in IPU CET bsc nursing hons this year will i get admission in first round of CET Councelling itself that is the third round in IPU councelling?? are CET students often alloted college with this CML apart from neet

Hey! With a CML of 80 in IPU CET for B.Sc Nursing (Hons), you have a good chance of getting a seat in the first round of CET counselling (which is actually the third round in IPU counselling). Students with this CML are often allotted colleges, though the exact college depends on seat availability, category, and your preferences. CET scores alone are considered for B.Sc Nursing admissions, separate from NEET.
