The objective of the Financial Aid Policy exercised at IIMB is to ensure that no deserving student is deprived of an education at the institute merely for financial reasons.
There are certain means based scholarships upto full tuition fee waiver for those from low-income group families that cannot afford to take the educational loan burden. Such students need to pay only the mess bills of about Rs.2 lakhs and other additional minor expenses through their sanctioned educational loan. Additionally, all students of IIMB can be assured of getting an educational loan upto the full tuition fee and mess bill of Rs. 23 lakhs irrespective of their existing family loan burden.
