Abhinav Chaturvedi, assistant professor at Bennett University in the department of Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship talks about making entrepreneurship as an attractive career choice. Talking about entrepreneurship he further writes that New venture creation will provide personal freedom and job creation, thus making entrepreneurship an attractive career choice. It is now well-accepted that entrepreneurship is not limited to just the creation or start of an enterprise. The trend we are currently witnessing is not about individual risk-taking but that of an individual and the institution jointly playing a pivotal role in the development of an economy. It is about the ‘Entrepreneurial Perspective’ which can bring forth creative ideas that can be nurtured by institutions. The entrepreneurial skill set is one of the best mechanisms to overcome unemployment. It not only assists in personal development but also acts as a means of self-actualization. With new venture creation, two things are bound to happen; opportunity for personal freedom and job creation, thus making entrepreneurship an attractive career choice.
From the organizational viewpoint, usually it is the top management team (TMT) members who drive innovation and infuse the culture of corporate entrepreneurship; but what is critical to the organization is the entrepreneurial mindset of the entire organization.
As part of this mindset, an individual, in either a corporate setting or otherwise, should have a growth mindset, where there is use of effectuation (generating effects)/bricolage (making use of available resources at hand), problem-solving through methods like design thinking. The individual should also have entrepreneurial intent as well as alertness to spot opportunities.Academia’s RoleWith the aim of sparking entrepreneurial mindset among students, a substantial amount of investment in entrepreneurship education at universities, high schools, and even at the primary school level has been initiated by many countries across the globe. Some such reputed global universities include Babson, MIT, and Stanford. In India, the focus on entrepreneurship has started gaining ground at universities such as Bennett University (BU) and institutions like Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), as well as the IIMs and IITs. In the creation and development of an entrepreneurial perspective, these institutions play a critical role.

This mainly comes down to your interest.
Comparing the colleges, both colleges are decent in their own aspects.
NIT Meghalaya is relatively newer, however being an NIT, you will be receiving good academics and placements there.
Bennett Uni. is also not behind in terms of infrastructure, decent academics, etc.

Both GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Bennet University are good and well-reputed colleges for pursuing your career in B. tech. The faculty at both the college is pretty good and you won't complain about it. The main thing about comparing 2 colleges are placements and quite frankly, the placement score of Bennet University is a lot better as compared to GLBIT. Companies like Intel, Tata, Foodpanda, H&M, Hindustan Unilever Limited, etc. visit the campus regularly.
All The Best.

You should according to your need and expectations from the college.
Here i am making the comparison between the two colleges.
BENNETT UNIVERSITY :
There is no good placement record in the college as it had started two years back, but placements are expected to be great in the next few years(2020_2022). There is a placement career management staff to take care of everything regarding placements. I hope placements will be very good in future.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. Their maintenance is also good.
The University is not affordable, its very expensive .The fee structure is on the expensive side at Thapar University.
The placement at the campus is good.
The hostels are good. The University has 12 hostels.
The faculty team available is generally doctorate-qualified and is well-versed with the subject they teach. They usually give knowledge about the latest technology which we are working with and some extra knowledge too.
