Careers360: Tell us something about yourself such as from which place are you from?

Anjali: I am from Phagwara, a small but lovely place. I have always been interested in business and how companies work, which is why I joined GNA Business School.

Careers360: Presently which course are you pursuing and in which year are you?

Anjali: I am currently pursuing an MBA and I am in my 2nd year.

Careers360: Did you face any difficulty in the initial months when you joined the institute?

Anjali: Yes, like most students, the beginning was a little tough. New place, new people. But soon, with help from faculty and friends, I felt at home.

Careers360: What activities are offered in the institute? Are there any clubs etc for the various extracurricular activities? Which ones have you taken up and are a part of?

Anjali: GNA offers many activities like business quizzes, cultural events, tech fests, and sports. We have clubs like the Marketing Club, HR Club, Finance Club, and TBI Cell. I am part of the Marketing Club and it’s really fun and educational.

Careers360: Describe a typical day at your institute – what do you do from the time you wake up till you go to sleep?

Anjali: I wake up around 7 AM, get ready, and have breakfast. Classes start around 9 AM. After lectures, we sometimes have club meetings or practice for events. I study in the evening, and sometimes hang out with friends. At night, I relax and prepare for the next day.

Careers360: Tell us about the faculty-student ratio here and about the teacher-student relationship in your understanding.

Anjali: The faculty-student ratio is good, and teachers are approachable. We can easily ask questions and get personal attention if needed. The bond between teachers and students is friendly and supportive.

Careers360: What facilities do you have in the campus? What do you like here the most which you feel is unique and differentiating?

Anjali: The campus has smart classrooms, computer labs, a library, canteen, gym, and sports grounds. What I like the most is the focus on practical learning through industrial visits and workshops.

Careers360: How comfortable are your hostels and how about the cleanliness factor over there?

Anjali: The hostels are quite comfortable with clean rooms and proper facilities. The staff keeps everything neat and tidy, and we also have Wi-Fi and study areas.

Careers360: What about the medical facilities? Can you avail requisite medical attention if needed in an emergency?

Anjali: Yes, there is a medical room on campus with a nurse available. In case of an emergency, the university helps us get proper medical help quickly.

Careers360: How do you balance your studies, projects, exams and other activities?

Anjali: Time management is key. I make a schedule and try to stick to it. I give proper time to both academics and extracurricular, so nothing is left out.

Careers360: Tell us about the clubs and societies at the campus and how significant are they from your point of view or students point of view?

Anjali: The clubs are very helpful. They give us practical exposure and build our confidence. Through clubs, we learn teamwork, leadership, and how to apply classroom knowledge in real life.

Careers360: Is there any in-house magazine or journal for the latest events or happenings at the institute?

Anjali: Yes, the university has its own newsletters and digital updates where we get to know about the latest events, student achievements, and upcoming programs.

Careers360: What are the popular hangouts at the institute? What, according to you, are the most-visited places nearby?

Anjali: Within the campus, the canteen and lawns are popular hangout spots. Outside campus, nearby markets and malls are often visited during weekends.

Careers360: How do you spend your leisure time at the campus?

Anjali: I usually relax with friends, discussion on current topics in real world scenarios, play games, or read books. Sometimes, I attend seminars or work on personal projects.

Careers360: Do you have any Facebook page of your campus where the students express their views, jokes or ideas, or maybe even a blog where they write about their experience of life at campus?

Anjali: Yes, we have social media pages where students post about events, experiences, and memories. It’s a good way to stay connected and informed.

Careers360: What type of companies come for campus recruitment and what percentage of students get placed every year? How is the recruitment process here?

Anjali: Many reputed companies visit the campus like Sonalika, HDFC Bank, Hero cycles, etc. Around 80–90% students get placed. The process includes aptitude tests, group discussions, and interviews.

Rayat Bahra faculty of engineering, Patiala is a private institute with 12 acres campus with total faculty of 70 and 174 of total student enrollment. They have hostel, wifi in campus, gym, library, cafeteria,medical service. They provide 4 courses in BE and 2 courses for ME. Considering BTech in computer science their fees is around Rs 3.5 Lakhs

GNA university, Phagwara is also a private institution with 50 acres campus. They have 125 faculty and 3012 total student enrollment. They also have hostel services, wifi campus, gym, cafeteria,library.hospital, etc. Considering Btech in computer science their fees is around Rs 5.85 lakhs.

If you are asking about enrolling for Engineering course in GNA University, It is a good University. As  per the previous year placement records, decent placements are offered to the students. Some of the recruiters of the college are Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, Infosys, TVS, etc.

You can make your choice as per the information below. In my opinion  VR Siddhartha is better.

CSE IN GNA: 100% placement guarantee because GNA group has a reputation and good links with the other industries as well. All the industries of GNA group are automated. They are also given placements to their industries. Wherever they give placements, you will never work in a static position. They will give the placements where you can grow your career.

IT IN VR SIDDHARTHA:  Placements are good enough for CSE and IT students. Almost 100% placements are achieved. Students get placed in good companies if their knowledge is good enough as per the company's requirements. We can get placed in some good companies like TCS. The highest package offered for a student was 11 Lacs per annum.
