TAPMI Admission 2024

The authority closed the registration process for TAPMI admission 2024 on January 31, 2024. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their scores in CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ NMAT, academic profile, work experience, and extracurricular achievements. TAPMI admission 2024 is a three-stage process;

• Stage I: Shortlisting
• Stage II: Admission Process (GD-PI)
• Stage III: Final Selection

T. A. Pai Management Institute offers 2-year full-time PGDM programmes in the following specializations which are:

• MBA
• MBA Banking and Financial Services (MBA-BKFS)
• MBA Human Resource Management (MBA-HRM)
• MBA International Business (MBA-IB)*
• MBA Marketing
• MBA Technology Management (MBA-Tech)

Note: *MBA-International Business is a semester-based programme, while others are trimester-based. This programme is subject to the approval of the regulators.

TAPMI Admission 2024 - Eligibility Criteria

Candidates desiring to take admission to PGDM programmes at TAPMI must check the eligibility criteria before filling out the registration form to appear for the TAPMI admission process 2024.

Academic Record : Candidates need to have obtained a minimum of 50% in their classes 10, 12 and graduation.

Entrance Examination Score

Candidates must also have a valid score in any of the following national-level entrance examinations with minimum marks/percentile as mentioned in the table below. The highest score will be considered in cases where candidates have appeared for more than one entrance exam mentioned below.

Additional Eligibility Criteria for MBA Technology Management

• Minimum of two years of work experience.
• Should be able to demonstrate interest in technology domain in the interview round
• Should be interested in continuing a career in technology domain

NOTE: There will be two rounds of interviews, where round 1 will be a general round and round 2 will be a technology-domain-focused one.

TAPMI Admission Application Form 2024

Candidates who fulfil the above-mentioned eligibility criteria will be able to fill out the application for the TAPMI 2024 admission process. The steps to fill out the application form are:

Step 1 - Visit the official website, tapmi.edu.in.

Step 2 - Click on the tab "Apply Now."

Step 3 - Sign up and create login credentials, including name, email, phone number and verification code

Step 4 - Login credentials will be created and re-logged in.

Step 5 - Fill the application form by entering personal and academic details and uploading the requisite documents

Step 6 - Pay the TAPMI MBA application fee

Important: A candidate can apply for a maximum of four programmes.

TAPMI Admission Process 2024

T. A. Pai Institute of Management will follow the three-stage process which are:

• Stage 1 - Shortlisting of candidates
• Stage 2 - Admission process
• Stage 3 - Final selection

Stage 1 - Shortlisting of candidates

In this stage candidates who will fulfill the eligibility criteria and will fill the application form for TAPMI admission 2024 will be shortlisted for stage 2 for the selection process. Candidates must meet the required cutoff criteria.

Stage 2 - Admission process

The second stage of TAPMI admission 2024 will include Group Discussion (GD), Extempore, and Personal Interview (PI).

1. Group Discussion (GD): This will assess the candidate’s ability to interact with the group. GD aims at evaluating the candidate’s skills in leadership, communication, problem-solving, solution orientation, and persuasion.

2. Extempore: Candidates will be given a topic on the spot and speaking time will be 2-3 minutes. Skills Tested: Pronunciation, Coherence, Presence of Mind, etc.

3. Personal Interview (PI): The objective of the personal interview is to understand the candidate's attitude towards management education. This will also evaluate the applicant's abilities in terms of self-awareness, self-management, leadership, and communication.

Stage 3 - Final selection

The final score for admission to TAPMI PGDM batch 2024-26 will be calculated on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the first two stages. The final score components and their weightage are mentioned in the table below:

Educational Loan Support at TAPMI

Various banks will be offering education loans to candidates desiring to take admission in TAPMI for the academic year 2024. Some banks may charge higher interest, while others may not. Before considering a loan, it is advisable for candidates to check the rate of interest.
