FMS Delhi Final Placement Report 2014: 107 companies make 212 offers
Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi has completed the final placement for the MBA batch of 2014. 205 students received 212 offers. The process saw 37 first time recruiters. The following table will give you the FMS Delhi Placement 2014 highlights.

According to FMS, this year’s placement process witnessed healthy participation across all domains, ensuring plenty of choice for the candidates to pursue careers in the field of their preference. “Consulting and General Management have continued to gain ground as they collectively comprise a third of the total number of offers. The lateral placement process received healthy participation from our recruiters resulting in an unprecedented 62 offers being made, doubling in number compared to last year,” the B-School added.
Now we will have a look at the sector and domain wise placement at FMS.
Sector wise placement
BFSI or Banking, Financial Service and Insurance was the highest recruiting sector followed by IT. Consulting and FMCG both consisted 16% of the total recruitment. Other sectors included Media & Entertainment, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Telecom & Technology and others.
Domain wise placement
Sales & Marketing was the highest recruiting domain followed by Finance, Consulting, General Management, IT and Operations. Now let us have a look at each of these domain wise placements and top recruiters.
This is the largest recruiting domain. HUL, P&G, ITC, Johnson & Johnson, Asian Paints, Dabur, Godrej and GSK were among the top recruiters. HT Media, Times OOH, Sony Entertainment Television and Star represented the Media and Entertainment sector while Samsung, Microsoft and Vodafone were companies from the Telecom and Technology sector. FMS students emerged as the national winners of the BIAC competition and secured offers from PepsiCo.
The domain saw 18% recruitments. In General Management, numerous offers were made in a variety of sectors with Reliance Industries Limited being the largest recruiter. Niche profiles in this domain include the position of Deputy General Manager, Strategy offered by Videocon. The top recruiters include McKinsey and Co., Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Deloitte, Cognizant Business Consulting and Infosys Management Consulting among others. Deloitte USI and Deloitte India made 12 offers at FMS, collectively making them the largest recruiters in this year’s process. Cognizant Business Consulting and Infosys Management Consulting visited the campus for the first time while Avalon Consulting offered the students a role in front-end strategy consulting.
20% of students were recruited in this domain. A plethora of international and Indian banks participated in the FMS final placement process. A lot of niche profiles were on offer during this year’s process such as roles in front end investment banking and financial markets. Corporate finance profiles were offered by Coca-Cola, Nestle and Matrimony.com. Balaji, a private equity firm also participated.
Operations and IT accounted for a fifth of all the jobs offered at FMS. Zomato offered the position of Assistant Vice President, Operations. Prosegur, a multinational company that deals in security of financial services offered the students an operations profile with an international stint. The other profiles offered spanned across a wide variety of roles including supply chain, procurement and logistics.
In the IT domain, Jabong and Flipkart were new recruiters. Students of the campus secured placements in General Electric’s coveted IT Leadership programme. Google, visiting the campus for the first time, was joined by Infosys BD and Matrimony.com in offering marketing roles from the IT sector. Microsoft also offered its coveted Program Manager role for its India Development Centre, while HCL offered its international position of Global Engagement Manager for the second consecutive year. Other profiles offered were the roles of product management, business analytics and IT consulting.

firstly i would like to congratulations you for scoring good marks in your study. And also congratulations for clearing CAT exam.
If you have secured the minimum cutoff of BHU’s FMS will be called for the admission process of the colleges which includes the GD/PI rounds.
The final selection of the candidates is made upon the performance of the candidates in CAT 2020 and the admission rounds. Here the academic record of the candidates is also considered.
Hence there is a chance of getting into FMS BHU .

how to fill cat form for fms college for mba
Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that FMS MBA will release its application form soon. You can check on official website of FMS regularly as FMS has announced the release of forms in October month only. The eligibility criteria is that a candidate must have secured atleast 50 percent marks in graduation. Reserve category students can have 45 percent.

Let me make one thing clear. The only thing that you can stop you from getting admission in these reputated institutions is the same who can get you admission. It is you.
Always remember your will power is the one standing between you and your admission in these colleges.
Now you have already appeared for 12th and youu cannot change that. What you can change is your tenacity and your urge to succeed.

Faculty of Management Studies, New Delhi, offers admission to its MBA program based on the CAT score. The Only Way to get access to FMS, Delhi for MBA Program, is through the CAT examination. There is no other way to get admission in the college.

Hi, I am appearing for cat 2020, When should i apply for FMS , whether after cat exam or before the cat exam in October to November?
As per your query, FMS Delhi opens the online portal for registration from october and it closes in november . You have to register for the same before CAT Exam that is on 29th Nov.
The guidelines for registration are:
- Candidates with minimum 50% marks at the graduation level (SC/ST: Passing marks; OBC/ PWD/CW: 45% as per the University rules) or equivalent CGPA. Candidates in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.
Steps to follow for registration:

- Verify your Email ID
- Fill the Online Application Form
- Upload the Required Scanned documents
- Pay the Application Fee
- Things to take care : You will need to submit subjective responses (essays) for 5 questions . You will need a couple of hours to finish the application process.
