Institute of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University (IMS BHU) formerly known as Faculty of Management Studies BHU offers MBA and MBA in International Business programmes. Admissions to these programmes are made on the basis of combined merit of candidates in the CAT , academic records, and Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

FMS BHU does not specifically mention the percentile required to get an Interview call as the cutoffs may vary every year depending upon a number of factors for candidates from different categories.

Admissions are strictly based on merit. The institute also has a provision of the admission under Paid Seat Scheme . Even a 99 percentile in the CAT will not give you a guarantee to get a shortlist for the GDPI process. But, if you belong to the reserved category, then you might get an Interview call at a lower percentile. Your final selection to FMS Delhi will depend upon a number of factors apart from your performance in the CAT.

Your Class 10, Class 12 and Graduation percentage does not help you directly to get admission to any business school. Only some weightage is given to them while selecting candidates for further admission process or final selection. To get admission in any of the top college you must appear for the management aptitude test and must perform well during WATPI/ GDPI process.

In order to be eligible for consideration, students need to score equivalent to or higher than the CAT cutoff set by FMS, Delhi. The average cutoff percentile at FMS is usually 98 or higher.
